Rooms and service are excellent. Guides for the dunes are knowledgeable and friendly. Scenery is fabulous. Food is good and accommodates a vegetarian diet well. In winter, rooms are cold. Only suggestion would be to add heat, although bedtime did include a hot water bottle!

Dear Matts001, Thank you for your feedback on your recent visit to Little Kulala. Being situated in the desert, extreme ranges of temperature are experienced and in winter, it can certainly get cold with those very clear night skies. We are glad the hot water bottle helped but will be sure to pass your comments on to the Operations team... More

The hotel rooms were really nice, but we found a lot of things to improve. The food was acceptable, and sometimes bad, not what you would expect for a lodge this expensive. A lot of misunderstandings between staff and kitchen. We found that they dont really care of your stay. The guide was one of the worst experiences, bad temper... More

This is one of the MOST romantic places I have ever stayed. Totally worth the long journey and not insignificant price to sleep comfortably under the most gorgeous night sky I've ever seen...better even than Antarctica. All the other stuff is good too, lovely service, beautiful rooms, great guide and amazing scenary in Soussuvlei...but my husband and I will remember... More

To stay in Little Kuala is a real treat - wonderful staff, really good food and excellent spacious accommodation. Very nicely positioned to view the dunes and the guiding is very professional, informative and thoroughly enjoyable. To have the ability to sleep under the stars is something not to be missed.

My husband and I had the privilege of visiting a spectacular part of Africa in Namibia, called Sossusvlei as part of our break this year. We self-drove from Windhoek to Little Kulala Lodge. Through the canyons we found driving in some areas could be challenging in wet weather for some travelers. An SUV or better would be recommended as the... More

We were greeted by singing staff, a warm face cloth, and a glass of sherry. Our guide, Foster, was outstanding, anticipating our needs, telling us about the geography and culture of the area. We only had 2 nights at Little Kulala and were hoping to be able to fit in a balloon ride as well as a walk on the dunes. Little Kulala is a very welcoming (as in most of the hotels in Southern Africa), simply and nicely decorated hotel half an hour far from the airstrip.
