Sesriem Rest camp was good as a stopping point for seeing Sossusvlei. The site gets quite noisy around 5:30am with organised tours taking down tents, which was a bit irritating. I ate at the restaurant and had a T-bone steak, which was pretty good.

You must stay here if you want to get to Dune 45 or Deadvlei by sunrise. The reception will tell you you can't make it to Deadvlei by sunrise but you can. You get an hour before sunrise to drive down then take the 4 x 4 road (so you need a 4 wheel drive) from Sossuvlei parking lot to...

First ime we visited this camp was 14 years ago. What a difference. Than very simple and really in the middle of nowhere, and nearly no other guests, now a quite sophisticated camp with bar, restaurant and swimming pool. It still is a very charming place but mass tourism is really threatening the place. We had reserved( obliged I guess)...

Absolutely horrible The price is too high and the welcoming very bad We weren't in the campsite but in another part, far from the main building but for the same price But there was enough place for us in the campsite so we didn't understand

Being inside the park makes it very much easier to visit the Sossusvlei dunes. We had some car trouble and the staff members were very helpful and kind. Wile we were staying there, we made use of the very pleasant swimming pool and we also got to see some animals like Oryx and springbok. Each campsite is equipped with a...

Oryx wandering through the campsite. Great photo opportunities. Nice pool. Large and cool bar area. Busy camping area but there are large trees in each camp site and brick boarders to designate your own area.

Really felt happy and at peace at Sesriem Rest Camp. It is very close to Dune 45, so it is possible to leave the camp at dawn and make it to the Dune for sunrise. It is also close to the whole Sossusvlei and Deadvlei regions, which are stunning. We also did the Sesriem Canyon and Elin Dune, which is...

Very well located campsite. We like staying at the campsite due to location, great staff and good food. We were able to be one of the first onces at dunes. We highly recommend you to leave campsite before sunrise to see magnificent dunes.

After a very long drive on bumpy roads it was great to arrive here. Facilities are good, especially the cold beer & decent coffee. And the site was pleasant and toilets and showers just fine. As we were inside the part we could also get to dune 45 early for sunrise and didn't have to wait like those staying outside

One huge sandy area with antelopes freely roaming around. One little pool, which the kids enjoyed, but nothing special for kids. Bad ablution blocks with showers that flooded the whole floor. Our camp was also quite far from the ablution blocks. Very windy.
