This accommodation was the highlight of our 8 days adventure through Namibia! The set up is amazing and very special! Very nice crew of people working there. The little houses were very clean and the pool for each house is a highlight.
Having spent our first night in Namibia in Windhoek, my husband and I drove to Moon Mountain on day two. A number of reviews have talked about how you need a 4 x 4 vehicle to access this lodge; my advice would be make sure...More
Stayed for 2 nights. Wonderful sundown, great rooms with a small pool to refresh after a hot day in the desert. Very friendly and service oriented staff. Great and fresh breakfast and different meals for dinner. Highly recommended!!!!!

I am not sure only because usually the hot air balloon rides go up early in the morning so you would probably get there the night before. My concern is where are you going to next, how far will you need to travel. Reason is there isn't much there in that area of Namibia, very few stops where you can get gas, etc. It is such an awesome place, hope you have a great time. (PS I don't think you would need more than 4-6 hours there, do you plan on climbing one of the dunes? consider time for that)
