From Margaret picking us up, the tasty dinner, breakfast and sandwiches made for us. Nothing was a problem, lovely location, extremely helpful and will definitely return. 4 of us started, we were one man down but made it to Clonegal from Kyle farmhouse in just about one piece......not for the faint hearted....

Had the bunkhouse out back to myself. The place is great and the the landlady is very helpful, ran me into town for pub and dinner, then collected me. Breakfast is great and everything about the farm and the property is well maintained and charming

After a long and tiring day walking the "Wicklow Way", our host Margaret, welcomed us with a pot of tea and homemade fruitcake. We were weary and sweaty/smelly, but nothing was too much trouble for Margaret. Our room was extremely comfortable with everything you needed e.g hair dryer, tea & coffee making facilities, good tv and internet reception. The bathroom was...

Wonderful stay at Kyle Farmhouse on night 4 of our Wicklow Way walk. Warm welcome from Margarte on arrival included tea/coffee and delicious home made muffins. Margaret helped us with our damp coats and muddy boots and stowed them away where they would be dry and warm for next day. Lovely room and wonderful shower . Dinner was just fantastic...

Do not stay here – unless you are prepared for the best B&B meal ever while hiking the Wicklow Way! What a welcome sight the pretty Kyle Farmhouse was at the end of a long day, and, only 1km off the trail. The walk up offers glorious views to the right and the house and setting are lovely. There’s even...

Three of us arrived here after a long days walk doing the Wicklow Way ! Margaret made us fresh percolated coffee served with iced buns and we sat at a table outside in the sun - too exhausted to move ! Our room was a large converted hut/shed separate from the house. It was clean, warm, comfortable & quiet -...

Can't recommend this B&B enough, from warmth of welcome through getting soaking wet clothes dry (even my woolly socks!) to providing a really excellent evening meal (and broader choice of breakfast than usual), it was just great. It is a km off the Wicklow Way, and uphill, but for that extra bit of effort one is rewarded with cracking views.

Stayed here as part of a 2 day walking trip to Tinahely. The B&B is perfectly placed on both the Kyle Loop and very near to the Wicklow Way. I was greeted by Margaret with a big pot of tea and cake. The following morning a fantastic breakfast awaited me and was more than I could eat. Facilities in the...

It's a nice start of our Wicklow Way walk. It's located on the Wicklow way and also the Kyle loop. We stayed in the family room which is not in the main building. The room is spacious and quiet. Also, since we have a dog, we found it nice that we could let him out in the woods without bothering...

I stayed here recently, and when we arrived after a long hike, Margaret greeted us with tea, coffees and lovely home-made cakes. We were then shown to our rooms, which were very comfortable and spotless. We had dinner that night there which was a hearty, tasty home cooked meal. The breakfast the next morning was lovely, with plenty of choice...

“All very well appointed.”

“We originally booked the bunkhouse but upgraded on the night as a treat for ourselves and it was so worth it - i'm sure the bunkhouse is good, judging from the overall quality of Kyle Farm, but the size of the beds, the comfort and luxury of the double room was so worth the extra few Euros!”
