It's very near from the downtown. Resort at the beach, so it's very comfortable for swimming and playing at beach. Breakfast is quite good for Asian. Room is quite large but a bit old and has a lot of mosquitoes.

This is a 3 star resort, the room standard is exactly what you can expect from a 3 star resort. Friendly staff, decent prices and average breakfast. Big thumps up for lying right beside the beach, also close to markets in Phu Quoc. Big thumps down for mosquitos in the rooms and AC that turns off when you leave the... More

If you plan a trip ro Phu Quoc, I would not NOT choice this hotel unless there is no other option available. We stayed there for two days and was really disappointed. We are a well traveled couple, we do not have very high demands but this hotel was below expectations in every way. The room in the main building... More

We are a well-traveled couple in our mid thirties from Europe and pls read our review if you are considering this place. This is a 3 star hotel with very outdated infrastructure from the 70-80s. Location is beachfront- so that is the only good thing. Below are the reasons why we did not enjoy our stay during the 5 days... More

We spent some days at Thien Hai Son. The rooms were a little chubby but regarding the appearance of other available resorts okay. The breakfast time slot (from 6 to only 9) is a little inconvenient. The service experience is quite poor, but despite the price okay.

We looked online a bunch for a hotel on the beach with a pool during the Christmas holiday. I think we choose wisely in picking a sea view hotel room. We were on the 3rd floor and had a nice view of the beach overlooking the pool. The serice at the beach, restaurants and front desk were very good. The... More

The best thing about the hotel is it's location and being by the beach. It doesn't have a lift which made it tiring going up and down the stairs, our biggest bad point was our air con unit was outside on the balcony which blew out hot air, too hot you couldn't stand outside for too long, although it was... After wading through heaps of reviews on various properties I think we chose well. Thien Hai Son is perhaps a little stiff and formal in many ways, but the VIP room we had which was not more than 50 metres from the beach made our stay relaxed and enjoyable. The bungalow had two separate rooms – a living room and... More

We had a stand alone bungalow just off the beach. Acess was thus very easy. The hotel provide beach towels and a beach waiter service. Unfortunately one night the beach restaurant played a band at such a high distorted sound level is was beyond funny. Were they sending karaoke signals back to Russia? Apart from that ridiculously loud evening, the... More

Our family of five (three children - 8, 6, and 2) spent five nights here in January. In researching this hotel, I remember one review saying something like "it grows on you". That is exactly the case - it's a unique hotel (Soviet era, I believe) and was a very good place for our family. In comparison to the other... More
