Coral Bay Resort Phu Qoc ticks all the boxes for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday escape. This time we chose the seaview room that was worth the extra cost. It was big clean and had outstanding paneramic ocean views that could be enjoyed while lying in bed. The buffet breakfast is plentiful with an amazing variety of quality foods on display that has hot dishes that change each day. The food is so good. The kitchen and floor staff are exceptional. The housekeeping staff do an amazing job. The reception staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in a central position with lots of bars and restaurants around it. It is right on the beach but also has a great pool. We keep coming back to Coral Bay Resort and keep staying longer each time. Thoroughly recommend it.
Sadly, I was unable to travel to the UK this Christmas and instead went to Phu Quoc, Coral Bay Resort. What an amazing hotel on the beach. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was a delightful mix of Vietnamese and English varying each day. I was so impressed with hotel; I have rebooked to stay at Tet.
We stayed in a bungalow here for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay, the staff at reception were helpful and accommodating to us to allow us to extend our stay. The breakfasts were very good, asian and western options, most days there was very good vegetarian options, but occasionally there was less vegetarian choice. The hotel is right on a beautiful stretch of beach and just next to a couple of popular beach bars. Service was good, room made up every day. Not far from the centre of Phu Quoc only 30-40k taxi ride.
Lovely little hotel we had fab room in main block with lovely sea view.Breakfast covers everyone. The lady on desk during the day is lovely and most helpful. My only downside no bar at night but loads close by,
We are so impressed with this hotel. Reception were very kind and had our room ready at 9.30 am. Amazing. And what a lovely room. It left new and shiny with kettle mini bar and good amenity kits in the bathroom. The view across the bay is really lovely...not a full sea view but good enough. Breakfast is amazing. There is absolutely everything you want..egg station..loads of fresh fruit and yogurt. .plus rice ribs chicken curry spring rolls and mango salad as well as Western favourites. The coffee is excellent. The pool and beach are also great. .bar and snacks available at a very reasonable price..bought to your bed. I really can thoroughly recommend the Coral Bay for a very lazy week in the sun. Snorkeling is good right off the beach BUT the water quality is not good at all. Local food stalls and restaurants all all great and very cheap...50p for a bottle of local beer and £1.50 for a massive bowl of pho with 6 spring rolls at £2.00. Thank You Coral Bay. …
Nice hotel with its own beach and pool area. Clean and tidy. Breakfast ok. Good service and the staff really did a good job to make us enjoy our stay. There are many good restaurants in the area close to the hotel. A walk into Duong Dang takes 30 minutes.
Im here now and the beach is really clean. The water has no rubbish in it.. Far better than patong beach in Thailand. The pool has plenty of shade and we have no issues with the sun loungers. November is the time to come. The cool breezes are amazing and Pacific boat tours have an amazing snorkling trip on a fast speed boat. Our first room had the best views you can ask for so if you can get a sewview room 404 was fantastic. There is a lot of new hotels being built in the area so noise my be a problem. The only issue we have is the fridge in the room is not a fridge its a wine cooler so no good for food. The beers in the hotel room are $1.20 and food is cheap everwhere, taxis are very cheap and laundry and many resturants close by.A very good small hotel run by locals on the beach,we love it.…
This hotel was absolutely amazing. A small family run hotel with a real personal touch. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The food was fabulous, plenty of choice for breakfast and excellent lunch menu which we frequently used when on the beach. The beach was gorgeous and was the perfect place to sip a cocktail and watch the sunset. The staff here are something else, they we all so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you, making the stay even better. They were brilliant in arranging taxis or booking trips for us. I genuinely can not fault anything in this hotel and would definitely come back.
Huge ocean-view room with large balcony, nicely decorated, well equipped and maintained; mini-bar's prices just a bit higher than groceries'. Breakfast was nice, though after a 3 weeks travelling in country a Vietnamese food seemed a bit plain, possibly to satisfy tourist tastes. Located on the southern edge of 'Long Beach village', so most eating/drinking venues are closer to Duong Dong (which is 3km north). Hotel territory is rather small, but cozy and green, with high-rise building along the road and bridged path between 2 rows of bungalows leading to the ocean over decorative pools. But... Beach area - I wouldn't even call it a 'beach' - looks nice and has many sunbeds under the palms, but just when you reach water edge, spell is broken. Sure we were there out of season, and sea was rough, but it seemed to me that even in better months the sand strip is almost gone at this part of Long beach. Generally all the way to north the beach was a disappointment with clear signs of ongoing erosion and ugly attempts to prevent it, while 100 m south just around the rocky point it was fine.…
This is the most ridiculous hotel in Vietnam. Upon check out they claimed two small towels were missing from the bathroom and would not let our taxi leave. Housekeeping had probably removed the towels the day before. It's ridiculous and unprofessional that a supposed 3.5 star hotel that cost 50usd+ a night would make such a big deal about two small cheap towels and make me go back to the room to search for them. I don't know if they do this on purpose to try to get money from foreigners but it was total BS and I refused to pay anything. The rooms itself are okay and the hotel is right on the beach but the staff in this place are poorly trained and pathetic. I've stayed all over Vietnam in over 50 places and I've never encountered such garbage behavior, not even in 10 dollar guesthouses. I would not recommend staying in such a trashy hotel. Moreover, there is construction of a new hotel right next door, at 7am I was awoken by banging. The hotel moved us to a room farther away but why didn't they just do that when we checked in instead of giving us a room literally 5 feet from ongoing construction? This place is just a poorly run hotel. It's pathetic and a disgrace. There are so many decent hotels right on the beach in Phu Quoc, this place is making a huge mistake being dicks to guests.…
