In the joining of the hours in lingering days, mortals wondering over how to catch them, gentile hillsides open their treasures as the sun warms the Maremma countryside, a sumptuous expanse without ardor, but so magically and purely managed it could only have been worked while others slept, or is Eden transformed again in the hills of Italy. But for... More

We were staying for a wedding so almost all of the rooms were taken by friends which made it a lot of fun too. The proprietors could not have been kinder. Rooms were very clean - in a perfect world a bit stronger air con would have been nice as the temperatures were very high. There are no bathrobes which... More

This hotel is divine. We found it by chance after fleeing a less than agreeable place nearby. We decided to leave that place and just pay for somewhere nicer nearby and we got more than we could have hoped for. The pool and gardens are beautiful, the room spacious and the hosts were delightful. And then for breakfast this morning... More

Stefano and Debora who run this wonderful family hotel are the best, they really made us feel at home. We stayed in the top floor suite, room 7 and the view was fantastic. The hotel is very clean and quiet with a beautiful garden surrounding a nice sized pool. There are some spa services at the hotel (massage, sauna, gym)... More

Stefano and his wife were wonderfully accommodating and gracious. Upon my arrival, his wife insisted in hauling up my luggage to my room. He was also very informative in telling me the easiest way to walk to the Termes (30 min), and also recommending a delicious restaurant. Their breakfast table was amazing - lots of home made cakes and jams... More

We stayed for two days and had a fantastic stay. Would recommend this place for people searching for a quiet, comfortable place with stunning view and a fantastic garden with a pool. The two owners are very friendly and warm and made sure we had everything we needed. Nice restaurants in the neighbourhood in the small pittoresque town Saturnia. A... More

We did not have any hotel reservation for Saturnia so parked our car and walked the town. When we saw Hotel Clodia we knew instantly that we wanted to stay here. The owner was at the front desk and greeted us warmly and professionally. He speaks very good English. Our room was very comfortable....large with an outdoor view of the... More

Places like Villa Clodia are becoming harder and harder to find in Italy. It's family owned and you can feel the love and pride immediately. The room was clean and charming. We were on the top floor near a rooftop terrace with a view of the countryside that was out of a dream. Do not miss breakfast! I loved the... More

Spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside from our window. It is as if you are living in a painting!! What beautiful accommodations, a warm and friendly family, some of the best breakfasts we ever had, and then relaxing around the pool. Truly a high point of our month in Tuscany and certainly a place to which we will return.

We keep coming back to Villa Clodia as often as we can, it truly is a fantastic place. The position is fab, the view and rooms are amazing and the family who runs the place are really nice. On top of that the breakfasts are amazing and there is a really nice garden with a pool. No better place to... More
