You get to know the service orientation of hotels in special situations, and the Oster manager was just incredible to us. Our 10-year old son had fallen on the hillside, and chafed his knee. This is a very nice modern ( but not ultra modern ) hotel. We arrived when they were actually closed but the lady cleaning the steps called Isabelle who cheerfully gave is ourt keys and showed us to our rooms. We had an apartment which was spacious, had a mini bar and was, as always in Germany immaculate. The staff...

Lovely family-run hotel in prime location for touring the Mosel. Very helpful and welcoming staff, especially Isabelle who speaks perfect English and let us practice our German! The rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable. Garaging for motorcycles and a great base from which to explore.

The hotel is run very well - great attention to detail - very helpful staff and the owner and her family speak perfect English - which was a bonus...

Very friendly family run Hotel in a quiet village type location.Tastefully decorated and very clean throughout. Ideal location to explore the Mosel Valley by bike or, by bus/foot as flat all along the Mosel ( away from the more busy tourist towns) There is a train station in the village and it only takes about 10 minutes to reach Cochem...
