If you are looking for a perfect start to your vacation or just need to be in a tranquil environment and be pampered for the full stay of your vacation, then Sweetfield Manor (SM) is the ideal destination in Barbados. We were travelling for 16 days with 2 kids, aged 4 and 8, and wanted to kick off the first...

What a charming place! 7 rooms and friendly staff. The atmosphere was nice as we were "guests" in this mansion. It is an old house and you hear all kinds of sounds. There are peacocks in the yard and the yard itself is beautiful. We had a nice breakfast and loved the place. We stayed in the room called Bananaquit...

We are just back from three nights at Sweetfield Manor and were THRILLED with our stay! This is true Bajan living! The manor itself is beautiful and the grounds are absolutely spectacular! Each morning before breakfast, we sat on the terrace and watched the property's peacocks in full display! This is NOT the 'cookie cutter' Caribbean experience! Breakfasts were a...

We spent two nights here on our way to the Grenadines. After a long day of travel, it was refreshing to settle into the island room and explore the property. The 4 course breakfasts each morning were creative and delicious, more than we could eat. We would stay here again if we return to Barbados.

Beautiful personal service with fastidious attention to detail. Arrived late and tired and were settled on the veranda and given a fruit punch. Room had period furniture entirely in keeping with the house. Breakfast was creative, beautifully presented and made with high quality fresh ingredients. Grounds were tastefully laid out with many shady spots. Lagoon pool was exactly as it...

My family and I spent New Year's Eve at the carriage house at Sweet Field Manor. We loved being in the garden by the pool and seeing the fireworks and views from the elevated deck. The Manor house itself is very attractive. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were so friendly and obliging. I highly recommend this oasis on...

My husband and I stayed at Sweetfield for our honeymoon and loved it. It was the perfect place for us. We stayed in the Hummingbird Nook which was a beautiful and quiet oasis. This Inn is perfect for anyone who doesn't want an all inclusive major resort and something quaint and quiet. We were able to walk to the beach...

This is a gem of a bed and breakfast in a restored early 1900's plantation house near Bridgetown with a wonderful view of the ocean. We had the best room, Hummingbird Suite, secluded from the main house with a porch and swing and right next to the pool! We went to bed listening to tree frogs and cascading water and...

Looking for a place to stay for one night before starting our cruise I opted for the Sweetfield Manor, got a quote for that night, confirmed my reservation and received a new 10% marked-up price. Well, not my idea of a professional process, which I let them know, and cancelled my request. Their reason: high season. Since the date hadn't...

Dear Zoc888, Thanks for your email . We are currently in discussions with your tour operator as it relates to the 10% service charge. The service charge is applied to all base rates along with the VAT regardless of the season.
