We visited Namibia already 7 times and every time we could not resist to camp here. During the now 14 years we have seen this place develop slowly. So there is an expensive lodge on the area now that we did not visit. Forbidden when you are camping I believe. But we were very happy to see that here the...

On this campsite you feel like you are the only one in the world. The showers en the restaurant was a long walk from our campsite, approximately 25 mins. walk. With a rooftop tent it's not easy to drive to there. Food was good, staff was really nice. If you're in Namibia, this should be part of your experience.

Don't come here if you want lots of facilities, this is very basic camping. But do come here if you want to put up your tent in an incredible landscape, enjoy the sunset and sleep as if you were the only people on earth :)

If you're looking to experience the tranquil beauty of Namibia you cannot miss Spitzkoppe. Private campsites, beautiful sunsets. Perfectly isolated. Only drawback is mismanagement - they do not allocate campsites so the benefit of privacy is undermined with other visitors interrupting your stay looking for a spot - we took 2 hours to find a vacant lot!! If they used...

We spent an hour and half driving to this place via Hentiesbaai to watch the sunset, and boy was it worth every minute! As you enter, go to the quaint little bar and enjoy a drink whilst staring up at a mountain. The views are breathtaking throughout this park. Climb up onto the giant rocks and boulders, lots of trad...

The place is very great, landscapes are wonderful. The staff is rude and not polite. The rooms are more than basic, only beds, nothing else except a plug. The rate is over 60€ for 2. I can't image what I can get in other countries for this amount in county side. The extra dinner is ridiculous, some french fries and...

Very basic camp site with very limited facilities but the setting is incredible amongst these majestic mountains. We spend one night there and I slept under the big big sky full of stars. Sunset was very nice. Campsite was very clean.

Definitely one of our highlights in Namibia. The campsites are largely scattered around Spitzkoppe and the surrounding mountains, so you will not see or hear any neighbours. Completely in the wild with no electricity and only a bush toilet (dry), you feel totally close to nature. Awesome sunsets with an amazing view over the mountains. Also: best starry sky in...

We were due to stay here for 2 nights but only stayed for one in the end due to being unable to cope with the heat in this area!! However, the location and views are truly amazing (best enjoyed in the early morning or pre-sunset!!). My one negative is the place could really do with a pool for people to...
