We had an incredible night at Salt with some colleagues. The culinary experience was extraordinary. Sanjay looked after us and made sure we taste the entire menu! He had the best advice to offer, I would recommend asking for Sanjay if going to Salt for the first time. This hotel is so cozy that you feel at home! It is simple but yet caters for all your needs. The sunrise from the bed is also breathtaking! We just love it and will definitely be back again.

We stayed at Salt of Palmar hotel to relax, the reason we choose this hotel is because it is an adult only concept. Furthermore, we choosen this hotel for its excellent reviews and award of best of best travellers choice on Tripadvisor. Upon arrival, we had a warm welcome from the Front Office staff who greeted us with a smile and with our name who contribute to make us feel immediately at home. The check-in was quick and our room was ready upon arrival. The room was well decorated( Thank you to Mr. Thierry). The restaurant: Breakfast was delicious, we had lots of choice, it is both buffet and A la carte service, the waiters are very professional and helpful. Quick service during breakfast and dinner. The food was yummilicious. Moreover, thank you to Ved for his nice cocktails. In term of hospitality and service. We were impressed by the kindness of the staff who makes the difference comparing to other hotels. The spa, the foot rituel treatment was very relaxing and also the Himalaya salt room was a unique experience. Thank you to the therapists. Room: the room was clean, nice and unique decoration. We had a breathtaking ocean view from our terrace. Best spot to watch the sunrise. ♡_♡ The pool is heated which is excellent in winter ♡_♡. From the very first welcome to our final goodbyes, every member of the team was incredible and a true credit to the hotel. Sharon gluten intolerance was catered for by Nitin at breakfast and dinner with delicious cakes and breads. My mother had special dietary needs on one particular day and was left overwhelmed with the special feast cooked for her by Nitish and his team. I am not exaggerating when I say that we were all overwhelmed by the catering and the variety that we had at breakfast and dinner. We would also like to extend a huge thanks to the housekeeping team that looked after our requests. The list of names to thank is endless but we would all like to thank some individuals that made our stay at SALT of Palmer extra special: Nitin Nitesh Kheevtee Sanjay Kumar Drishka Med Rajiv Bhavish (on the bar) Priyanka Sadrinia (sorry if I've spelt the name incorrectly - she's based in the shop) Vidusha Thierry We particularly appreciated the time that Nitesh spent talking to us during dinner, he really made us feel part of the SALT family. It’s hard to sum up just how amazing our stay has been. Every single little detail at Salt is thought of, I’ve never had such a luxurious or special trip. The hotel is absolutely stunning and so well thought out, and the staff are wonderful, warm people who are a pleasure to be around. There is so much to do: relaxing on a day bed by the pool with cocktails, sunrise yoga on the beach, painting your own landscapes, horse riding, dominoes, fitness classes with Tony… the list goes on. You can be as active or relaxed as you like! And the food and drinks - wow, they have blown us away, truly the jewel in the crown. Every single thing we’ve tried has been lovingly created to order and has been beyond delicious. Fresh pastries every morning, amazing curries, cocktails, fresh seafood… This is absolutely a foodie’s heaven. The wonderful staff make this the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Yes, the hotel itself is beautiful, the beach is unspoiled, the sea is warm and the food is more than delicious. But it’s the people (special mention to all the restaurant and bar staff) that make this hotel so very special.

The best place to spend your time in is Mauritius. The rooms have a view of the sea. The beach is calm and comfortable, with complete privacy, and you can try to explore the sea for free. Clean restaurant delicious food diverse and the staff are very nice, especially (Vinesh), (Med) and (Arvin) I had a great time and I will definitely repeat the experience.

Booked this hotel with no idea of their eco-friendly idea of no TV, no fridge, no reception desk and no bathtubs in your rooms as they were not mentioned on their page. So you can imagine my initial shock. However, it is a nice hotel with very good food but you have to wait for a long time to be served. The sea-facing room was really nice directly overlooking the sea. The staff are friendly and patient but I may not return only just because the things they exclude are the things I cherish in a hotel.

We booked the biggest room category for three nights and were very happy with the way we were welcomed by the staff. No traditional reception counter but a very spacious welcoming area sets the mood for a very relaxing experience. The room is well designed, spacious and with a sense for details like the in-room internet radio that is set to salt’s own station of course. A perfect sea view and a comfy bed made our nights and mornings just perfect. The beach was great and the sunbeds were comfortable as well. The sunbeds at the pool area are a little crowded and were reserved with towels pretty fast. Not a problem for us but we saw other hotels removing unused towels after 15 minutes of abscence. Maybe this could improve an already great operation even further. We tried some water activities like paddle boat and had a great time. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The best for last. The food is simply amazing. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and the bar service is excellent. We recommend booking at least half board. For the very hungry and thirsty people all-inclusive might be worth looking into. We want to thank the entire team at salt for a very memorable and pleasant stay.…
