Overall:
Stayed for two weeks in November-December 2018. The staff are really accomodating and do their best to make your stay a pleasant one. However, ownership needs to put some money into the rooms which are showing their age. We had our AC quit five times. Each time the sta

Dear Calbarry, Thank you for your valuable time to give us a review. As you got the first room upon arrival on the second floor for Accomodation: First room you got on a second floor at our 'C' building near to the pool. And you asked us for new room with higher floor then we moved you into a new room for 'A' building near the lobby at third floor. But seems to be there were an issue about the a/c according to how to control the tempertarure as well. Then, we moved you agian to 4th floor same building. After that no more issue at all and you got a nice sea view from your balcony. Accessibility: As you are at 'A' building near the lobby but our pool, restaurant and beach are on the ground which we have two ways how to reach them; By walking down the steps, or Golf Car is also available for our guests who do not want to walk down the steps which you can ask our staff to let you go there. Our hotel is a small property then just only have one pool, one restaurant & bar, fitness, internet room, and self laundry service to facilitate our guests during stay. Moreover, we also provide free one time shuttle bus to Phuket town as well (timetable and advance booking is needed to our reception). Best regards, The Management Team By The Sea

Our stay there was wonderful. We were on our honeymoon and wanted a more secluded place to stay. It is far away from several attractions so rides tend to be a bit more expensive everywhere ($12-25 USD), but it was very easy to get a taxi or Grab ride from there. We ventured to Ph

Really loved this place. Staff are super friendly. Hotel is better than it looks in all the photos we saw online prior to our arrival. Beach and view is amazing and peaceful. Breakfast buffet is pleasant and relaxed. Kayaking is a good high tide activity.

We spent two weeks at this hotel in October 2018. The hotel is located in a very quiet area away from city noise and is perfect for a relaxing holiday. There’s not much to do except swim in the pool and in the bay, kayak and relax.
We had a big two-bedroom apartment with proper

Hi, we are booked at his hotel for 3 weeks in november. We have been emailing the hotel asking if they book excusions /day trips which pick up and drop off at the hotel. If not is there a company in the area where we can arrange day trips. It doesn't look like there is much in the area. I do see that there is a forest area behind the hotel, is this a park and are there trails that we can walk.
Hi Indeed it is a very quiet area. Not sure hotel can organize excursion But the travel agency where I rent motobike was nice and seemed to be professional and maybe can propose you some trips. Go out of hotel on your right walk 10mn. About the park or forest, I don't think so. Didnot see anything like that. Enjoy

Hi. Our family are staying at this hotel in August. We are really looking toward to it How far away is Phuket itself? How long does the shuttle bus take to get there My daughter is s really picky eater. Is there enough "simple" non spicy food for her (am not taking her to kfc, or mc d's" Thanks
We really liked it. We had a family room that while not 5 star it was great and well worth the price. The location was the great thing for us. The beach and area is quieter than a lot of the island now which, to me, is more Blackpool now than the traditional Thailand it was years ago. The staff were great. The breakfast was well cooked, well served and more than substantial enough to last us till dinner. The beach hut restaurants were great to eat at. Great range of food and perfectly made natural fruit drinks. Fantastic eating on the beach at night. When we moved to another hotel further away, we returned to this beach at night to eat. No idea how long the bus takes. We always roped in someone at the hotels to drop us off or took taxis. Barter for prices though. Nothing is a long ride away and the drives are usually worth the views. Wouldn't worry about Phuket Town. One visit there and you'll be glad to get back to the quiet areas. Market worth a visit though. Really not sure how things will be at your time of year. I always go between November and March as the weather is at it's clearest. I'd check with people who have been then as the monsoon season is not so much rainy, but windy and dull. Been there in July once and ended up leaving and going to Penang. Hope this helps a bit. Cheers, Ali.

Me and my girlfriend are arriving at 1045am at phuket and going straight to By the Sea resort, and we want to just to spend our first day just around the area, any suggestions of places we can go and restaurants that we should go to
Hi! Unfortunately, this hotel is a bit far away from the civilization (that's why I choosed for my holiday:-) ), so I can't suggest any place nearby. We've rented a car and visited the island this way. When we stayed in the hotel, always had our launch and dinner about 200 m from the resort, in The Beach Bar, but as I know it's closed for 3 months because the rainy weather, So I'm really sorry, but I couldn't help to you.

Where are the best room(s) considering view and ease of getting to the beach? What time of day do the shuttles go to Phuket Town? Would it be possible to ride the bikes to Nai Harn beach (looked like it would have to be a long route.) /
The best views you get the higher you have your room, so don't pick the rooms situated at the pool because then you will not have any views over the sea. The shuttle was around 9h30 and arround 14h (i think). Riding by bike at phuket I would not recommend, to dangerous.

I love to snorkel and would like to know whether you see any fish about and whether there is a coral reef nearby
On this beach itself there is no snorkelling. It is a bit rocky. I believe you have to take a boat to most of the snorkelling spots. We went across the way to Panwa Bay resort and I think they may have a little snorkelling.
