I read the reviews on this hotel before bopoking and thought that the people who found the food poor must have odd palates. We travel all over the world and have eaten a wide varient of cuisines and rarely have we been disappointed. Oh boy was I wrong. The list of ingredients for each dish on the menu sounds appetising...

Our second stay at this resort - and probably even better than last time, is that's possible! The whole experience here is the best. The warm welcome when you arrive, the spacious rooms, the food, the beach - the whole enchilada! Our room was right on the beach, where there's plenty of shade and the sand doesn't get hot in...

The title says it all, really- we had a blissful week at the Spice Island on Grenada this month and, if pennies permit, will definitely be returning there. That's the only bad news - it isn't cheap, but as value for money you won't better it. All Inclusive there really means all inclusive, unlike some places we have stayed, and...

Spice Island differs in so many ways to other resorts we have stayed at over a number of years. For a start on arrival we received a warm welcome from family members of the owner of the resort, Sir Royston Hopkins, which was repeated on our departure. Our room was spacious, clean, lots of hangers (which is important) and space...

We stayed one week in Grenada after one week in St Lucia. Even if in statistics the two islands are supposed to be about equal economically, Grenada came across as more prosperous. Which you could feel already when arriving in the airport, much easier to get help with your luggage. Staying at Spice Island makes a stay with a 20...

Let's get this straight: the way this hotel is run is flawless and it is in one of the world's most beautiful locations and staffed by extremely friendly, highly competent people. It is very comfortable indeed, very prettily laid out and nicely decorated. The beds are great, the AirCon is highly effective, the Wifi is free and very fast and...

This is a glorious destination! The resort is beautifully situated on a quiet, clean and perfect beach. There are a number of family members involved in the day to day operations which means that the service, rooms, food and general quality is top notch!!! I recommend this hotel without limitation!!!

I just returned from my first trip to Grenada. I was dropping off my son at school at St George's University on Grenada and was fortunate to have found Spice Island. The staff at Spice Island made me feel at home. I don't think I have ever experienced such warmth and kindness as was offered there ! The accommodations were...

We arrived back at Spice for our third visit at the start of December. This was our first "winter" visit to the Caribbean and we had no idea what to expect by way of weather etc but it was our 40th anniversary and my wife's birthday so we wanted special! Spice is always special but December was different, there were...

We've been to Spice Island before and were interested to see if its standards were being maintained. They certainly are. I still believe the Seagrape suites must be among the best holiday accommodation in the world - spacious, well equipped and with direct access to the beach. They have now been enhanced by a ceiling fan on the patio. They...
