Absolutely beautiful! Lovely people and the rooms are exquisite. Food was delicious and I highly recommend this resort as an oasis in this world. Get away from everything and enjoy the sounds of nature.

We recently had a family visit for a weekend. The lodge is newly renovated and is amazing. The ambience of the lodge and the fantastic huge comfy beds in air conditioned rooms plus accommodating and welcoming staff were amazing. we LOVE this lake for it's swimming, tubing, fishing and "dead mans drop" - fun times thank you David and Suzie

Recently spent a night at The Whitestone. What an amazing resort. We understood the resort was sold and David and Susie the new owners did an amazing job renovating. It was breath taking to see everything it had to offer. The rooms were spectacular and so cozy. Each room had its own private balcony to sit on and watch the...

great people and a real northern experience. We just picked a week that was way too hot. We stayed in the largest cottage. We had our kids up as well as our grandchildren. The great room was really great for the kids to run around in. I understand it was sold shortly after we left in July 2015. The food/dinners...

Well the only thing you can't criticize is the view. By far the worst service ever. Legendary actually, almost comical. We arrived at the resort and were ignored by the hostess for about 10 minutes while she talked on the phone. There was no soap in the room. No air conditioning no hair dryer. There television was an ancient tube...

One week before my son's wedding reception they abruptly backed out stating they had been sold and would not honour any commitments. All the wedding guests who were to stay at the resort are now scrambling to find other accommodations is the busiest season in the region. Whitestone is totally unapologetic.

I really wanted to like this resort. The location was perfect and the setting was beautiful. The beach was nice. There were a very limited number of kayaks (2) and one canoe, but the resort was quite empty, so sharing wasn't a problem for us (but I imagine, if the resort was full, it might be difficult). The rooms were...

The rooms were clean and good value...one complaint would be the pullout sofa-beds are old. But what our issues were and the reason for taking the time to do this review, is because of the service. We waited for everything- to check-in, to have the canoe unlocked, for menus, for food, to check-out.....anything and everything we waited a long time....
