Check out what you want from your holiday before booking this hotel, We Stayed June 19th 22 7 days Once on site you are stuck, nothing around, no place to walk to, no local village/town to walk to see true Greek life and local cuisine nearest village I was told it is 20-25min by a taxi, only a small village but a couple of OK restaurants, you could hire a rental car, but when we asked on Friday, they had nothing available until Sunday when we were going home. The hotel does not offer a shuttle bus anywhere as they want to keep you on site spending there and using their facilities. understandable, but not useful for adventurous travellers. The hotel was clean and tidy, staff were excellent, helpful and polite the 3 rooms we had were very good we had a small pool out back nice for afternoon and late night dips, but no view, our son had a nice room on third level (odd system of ground floor and top floor) which was very nice with excellent views, our daughter, husband and 2 children had a family suite on top floor which was very nice small balcony with excellent views, the grounds are well looked after and very nice, all the pools we went too were very good, overall, the site is very good. I found the beach had gritty sand with sandy parts and strong winds to cool you down, nice to see the beaches were clean and are cleared at sun set to allow the Turtles to come on the beaches to lay eggs when its their time of year and they notices advising that turtles would not come ashore if the public were flooding the beach. Sadly, only a personal though I had great time with wife and grandchildren only there a week but by the Thursday i wanted to go home I felt blocked in as nowhere else to go apart from walking around resort, being 70 and travelled a fair bit around the world over the years business and holidays I found this resorts restaurant food in my view only average, being on holiday i do not normally think about costs as its a time to enjoy and have a good holiday, but here I thought it was very expensive for quality and quantities, whether you have a bank balance that does not need to worry about money or you have to watch every penny when you pay for an expensive meal quality and quantities matters, here I did not think you got that. (check the various restaurants menus on their website to see what you fancy and at what cost) my view they have a captive audience so they price every everything expensive guess making up for Covid times, i.e. bottle of water 6euros and not a big bottle, a local bear about 8euro and was ok to my taste, a bottle of Pinot Grigio 45 euro and average taste, we tried better whites and reds up at 90euros and still only a nice wine, most wine menus had on offer wines at much higher prices for the more concerning wine drinker , I would say hotel overall very good plus, but would suggest think about what you are looking for from your holiday as this may be or may not be for you. If you are happy to arrive sit down, do nothing, see nothing, go nowhere, just laze, chill and eat at the various on-site restaurant’s this could be the holiday for you. If you want to see a bit of Greece, meet the locals and taste their local cuisine without a car to travel around you will struggle. Enjoy what ever decision you make. Regards MC.…
Excellent service and awesome people! Especially at lagoon pool where aggelos kolios clearly stood out with his excellent service skills! Undoubtedly recommend a stay at one of the best hotels in Greece!
Everything was amazing! One of the most beautiful place we ever stayed. The level of service, rooms, food, beach, pool, restaurants, shops, fitness.....everything was excellent. We were here third time and will come back for sure.
We stayed here for a family vacation and we loved it. The rooms were large with very comfortable beds. The service was first class from the time we arrived until we left, it was the full white glove service the entire time. When we checked in, we were given a quick tour of the facilities, this is a large resort with a lot to offer. We ate at 4 of the restaurants, chartered a sail boat for a day, and used the spa, all amazing, especially the spa. We have never experienced such and amazing well equipped and unique spa. The pools were amazing, and the beach was one of the best in the world. The beach is very private with only hotel guests, there are no other resorts around. The Ionian Sea was clear, clean and picture perfect. We went to Mykonos after staying here, and the beach and ocean was much better at Costa Navarino. We can't wait to come back. Our only complaint was that the restaurants were expensive, but I will rate them separately.…
This is a good place to forget that the world exists and relax, and I did that. The hotel is huge, with lots of pools and restaurants, direct access to the beach, and amazing rooms. We chose the room with the pool in front of it, which was an amazing touch to our visit. We also had the opportunity to try the buffet both during breakfast and dinner. The breakfast had a great variety and quality, though it had such a low number of seats, which meant we had to wait to get seated. The dinner buffet, though varied, had some dishes that were not so good, specially if we consider the price we paid for it... Also, when arriving to the hotel, most of the dinner restaurants were already fully booked, which is something very annoying because it meant that during the first night we would always have to resort to the buffet or to restaurants that no one else wants. Overall, as similar hotels as this one, though one gets a good experience, it is too expensive for the benefit.…
This resort is absolutely Amazing!! The most beautiful place I've ever stayed in. The level of service was excellent. A real dream!!! Special recommendation of the amazing bar tenders at the Annex bar (at the Romanos) especially Giorgos the talented bar tender who makes amazing drinks!
We visited the Westin for the second time after having a fantastic time there last year. When it comes to holidays with kids, this place is highly recommended. For us it was important that the hotel offers a lot of things you can do with kids, while adults can also enjoy the time and actually have holidays. The Westin ticks all the boxes. When coming with kids I would recommend the Westin rather than the Romanos located in the same resort. The reason being that most of the pools are located in the Westin, and it’s a little more for families while offering the same amenities. The beach is mostly private for the resort and the various restaurants offer something for every taste l.
Besides the wonderful environment and the stunning golf courses we enjoyed every time the great hospitality and warmth especially of Konstantinos Kanaris and his hole team. We enjoyed typical greek cuisine with modern twist and always excellent products.
Just back from 2 weeks at the Westin Resort, Costa Navarino. Great experience all round, but I wanted to particularly mention the quality of the tennis coaching at the Mouratoglou Tennis Centre. Our 3 kids are all very keen tennis players, who were keen not to get rusty on holiday in anticipation of playing tournaments on their return. The quality of the coaching at Mouratoglou was excellent - especially from Alex & Eirini. They took a real interest in the kids games, and all 3 came back with some really good pointers, and enthused about their tennis generally.
Amazing hotel. The highlight being the wonderfully friendly staff especially the Pilates instructors (Valea, Ana Maria & Yulia) who made the tough classes seem like fun!! The hotel accommodation is of a very high standard & kept immaculately clean. We went half board with the usual trepidation that we might get tired with the same restaurant … not here with each choice of Restaraunt producing top class cuisine. Can’t recommend this hotel enough.
