We stayed at Il Pezzatino and found it a wonderful place to stay. The estate is centuries old. It produces wine and olive oil, both for sale with shipping available. Alessandra, the owner is a lovely and very accommodating host. If you arrange for her dinner offerings, prepare to be amazed. Easy access into Florence by train. Having a car...

We arrived in Tuscany with a reservation at an agritourismo that was less than satisfactory as my daughter in law was ill and we needed a warm , comfortable place, so we pulled into a small restaurant and got on the Internet to look for a new place. We checked them out on Trip advisor, sent out emails and decided...

This is a truly beautiful estate. The rooms were spacious and the setting divine. It is a good location to visit Florence. The hosts were charming. As a bonus, we brought home some of the olive oil...yum!

Il Pezzatino , was my first time stay in a farm house. Room was authentic and very clean. View is amazing. Alesandra the owner was very kind and welcoming, she made our two days visit a stay to be remembered. Tuscany is an amazing part of Italy , simply heaven on earth.

Before I booked this place, I asked the owner if it was quiet. She said yes. Thus, according to "Larousse"/"harraps", quiet, (quietus in latin), means calm, peaceful and tranquility. When arriving, we immediately felt something was wrong with her definition of "quiet". The noise from the road is awful (we weren't bothered by railway though...maybe because the sound of trains...

After reading reviews on Tripadvisor on this B&B, we didn’t know what to expect… Would it be good or bad? Luckily it was good! Il Pezzatino is a very nice B&B, where you can also have a simple (3 course, not a la carte) dinner if you want. If you do, make sure to ask the owner Alessandra in advance....

This place is great - clean, friendly, great location, shopping, awesome food, great wine! We had a wonderful time here. Our dog had the most fun I think! We felt very much at home here. We loved hanging in the main room by the fireplace having the amazing wine. I generally do not visit two places twice in Europe but...

We stayed at this agriturismo from October 31-November 2 of 2013. This was our second time here, the first being in May of 2009. It was recommended to us by some long time visitors to northern Italy as a convenient location to Florence and Tuscany. We were not disappointed. The facility is an easy five minute drive to the train...

I booked the whole agriturismo for a group of 17 ladies a year and half ago. Alessandra was extremely helpful with organizing our travel around Tuscany, she actually arranged for a private bus to pick us up everyday to visit Tuscany. Her farmhouse is amazing, beds are confortable, rooms are spacious and clean. The grounds are spectacular, what a view!...
