The hostess Marcella is friendly & extremely helpful, nothing too much trouble. The room we had was very modern, light and smart. The beds & settee very comfortable, all decor of good quality. Bathroom modern & clean. Excellent value. Local restaurants within walking distance very good. No bar or restaurant on site.

Marcella, the owner was so pleasant and helpful in every way. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. There was a small kitchen area behind closed doors in the room which we had no occasion to use. The bathroom was small, but modern. No breakfast at hotel , but you receive a voucher to walk a few steps down the street to a pastry shop for a complementary coffee and pastry with the locals.

We spent a night with two small children and two friends. The both rooms were clean, spacious and with a pleasant ambience. The breakfast is not served on site. They give you a voucher for one cappuccino and a brioche in the bar situated nearby. Despite the road along the hotel, the night was rather calm and the beds, including the sofa in the kitchen, were comfortable enough. Thanks to Marcella, who was very sweet and helpful.

Easy to find hotel, however, the location is not good for a visit to florence. Room is perfect, fully equipped kitchen, extremely clean. The entire place looks brand new, I would say somewhat sophisticated. It offers free closed parking which is great. The manager (owner?) is extremely friendly, helpful and nice! The only thing that bothered us was breakfast, the replacement is a voucher for a local cafe offering a drink and a sandwich, I expected more.

It was a pleasure for us to stay in this hotel. Our room was new and clean. It was cold outside, but it was warm in our room. The staff at reception was really very friendly! It was a few minutes by foot to get to a fine restaurant. Next time will stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at residence flippo in june. Very nice building with very clean and comfortably decorated spacious rooms. Marcella is the most helpful and lovely host I've have ever met. She is an absolute problem solver and a good communicator, helped us to quickly find the personal care products that we needed in the neighbourhood. Free wi-fi available in rooms was another good reason to stay at this place. I strongly recommend.

It was great to be there, while being in vaiano. Very warm and personal reception with great information about the area. Very interesting location to visit, close to Prato, but also in the heart of the etruscan history.

This hotel was AMAZING!!!!. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are very tidy and clean. The host is an absolute gem. Such a beautiful kind hearted person. She went out of her way for us in the morning to look at other hotels for us in other areas of Italy. She also suggested a really good restaurant for us. I'm so glad we stayed out of Prato at this lovely little village.

I chose this accommodation through Trip Advisor and I am very happy with my choice. Marcella is a very gracious host who really cares about her guests enjoying their stay. She was very welcoming, showed me how everything worked in my apartment and drove me around Vaiano the first day to show me the grocery stores, laundry etc. I had a flat tire one day and she came with me to talk to the repair shop as I don't speak much Italian. I felt very taken care of by Marcella. The Residence is modern and a lovely building. I stayed in an apartment with a full kitchen. It had a lovely large bedroom with a very comfortable bed, lots of natural light. The apartment was very spacious and reasonably priced. Anything I needed or asked about, Marcella was always very quick to assist. She is a wonderful host and owner. I stayed 7 nights and still could have stayed longer. It was sad to say goodbye! I really enjoyed my stay in Vaiano, a smaller town a bit north of Prato. The people will very friendly and two Italian men stopped their Sunday plans to change my tire so I could at least get back to the Residence. I enjoyed walking in the town and stopping for a cappuccino. There is also a train station with lots of nearby free parking. I was able to use trains to get to Pisa, Luca, Bologna, Verona. The trains go to both Prato and Firenze so it is easy to get train connections as driving can be a bit stressful. I hope to return to visit Marcella and the Residence again. It is a great base to see other parts of Italy but also, a location to stay in
