We booked 5 hotels in the Dordogne area and the big disappointment was we only booked one night here. We stayed in the annexe which is 100 yards from the hotel but is great as it overlooks the pool and hot tub and grounds its a lovely setting very peaceful, room was nice and modern with a great waterfall head...

We stayed here for 4 nights during mid-April and it was lovely. We ate in the restaurant 3 out of the 4 nights, and the standard of food was excellent. The staff were very accommodating and helpful, and dealt with a couple of minor niggles we had promptly. The hotel rooms are divided between the hotel and the pool annex...

This hotel is excellent for its location, friendly helpful staff and it's restaurant. The owner gave us the choice to have a room in the hotel or the annex. We stayed four nights and ate in the restaurant for three of them. The swimming pool area by the annex is lovely. We felt very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay....

This was our third visit to Laborderie and this time we stayed for a week. We had managed to book one of the larger ground floor rooms in the annexe overlooking the garden and pool which meant that some days we were very happy to stay at the hotel and enjoy its facilities. The restaurant is really excellent and fantastic...

We stayed 2 nights while on a walking tour in the region. The hotel sits at the top of a hill overlooking a beautiful country side. Admittedly I arrived weary after a big days walking, but I did find reception a bit short and uncooperative. Our group had 3 rooms. The other two couples had pleasant ground floor pool side...

This hotel was a highlight of our first visit to Perigord 30 years ago. It's much larger now, with a pool and many more rooms - however the area is still beautiful and there is much to do in the area. The rooms are large and comfortable - but basic. However the restaurant is superb and the 5 course menu...

We rented a home for 3 weeks in Tamnies, and at the owner's suggestion we booked a dinner here for 10 persons upon our arrival in Perigord Noir. It was the first of several wonderful meals. The Inn is lovely and the restaurant enjoys a local reputation as a good place for dinner and celebrations judging by the number of...

Best service and food we have ever had and for a reasonable price. Even the fixed menu could be changed, my wife is a vegetarian. Room quality varied with price. Don't take the cheapest ones as it can be noisy outside from 6 o' clock each morning as people start work Countryside location allows a walk each evening before or...
