The cottage was very nice and heating blankets made it comfortable. Breakfast wasn't good maybe because we were the only guests. Dinner at Village Inn was bad don't chose the Kudu. There were two groups of travellers maybe that was the reason for our bad lunch.

It was fine for an overnight stay, but it was pretty average and I thought very expensive. I found the website a bit misleading because I was expecting something totally different. We stayed in Bluebell Cottage. It was okay, had everything one needed but there was nothing special about it. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was okay, but...

Nice Hotel but a bit expensive if we think that Stormsrivier is a small village and the cottages are old modish. For this price the breakfast could be better. I would recommend this hotel eventhough the price is too high.

gorgeous website but the pool was tiny and the chalets looked nice on the outside but were extremely dated on the inside. Kitchen around 1960s and bathroom also very old. extremely expensive for what we got.

We stayed at Swallows Nest for just one night before kayaking down Storms River in the morning. Having spent too much time meandering through elephants in Addo Elephant Park, we arrived as the sun was setting behind the beautiful, lush mountains of Tsitsikamma - quite the contrast of the dry roads we'd been driving all day. The manager on duty...

Rooms need privacy perhaps by way of net curtains. Bathroom cupboard - end wood is tired and could do with being replaced. When sitting outside the chalet, absolutely no privacy, perhaps a small hedge could be grown. This would also offer privacy into the lounge and bedroom windows.

Other than a smelly drain odour and traffic a bit noisy at night, had a very pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and accommodating, good breakfast and clean rooms. Well equipped chalets. Neat and tidy gardens.

Enjoyed everything except there is no privacy from other guests passing by and the garden lights are too bright at night for a good nights sleep..although the curtains are thick, they still shine into the bedroom. Guests next door were outside on their patio socialising till the early hours.
