We paid £48 per night, which isn't expensive in UK however, compared to other hotels in Koh Samui this hotel is very over priced. To start the reception was very poor, staff weren't exactly rude but not welcoming and friendly. The room was a big disappointment. It was quite big but very dated. The sofa looked filthy. The bathroom was...

Dear Shuggywoos Thank you very much for your very personal comments here on TripAdvisor regarding your experience at Palm Beach. I do apologies if we have not been able to meet your expectations at all. It is correct that free WIFI access is only available at the lobby lounge and the restaurant after breakfast (as advertised) I am a bit...

This was the last stop on an Intrepid tour of Thailand's East Beaches, and I had the option of spending an additional four nights here but I chose not to because of all the salmon pink they showed in their photos, but it turned out to be a really great place! And not too 80's in style at all. The...

Dear Cat A Thank you very much for leaving your personal note about your stay with us. I am glad that we could prove you different and it seems you fully enjoyed it. Agree...Lamai and Chaweng are very different and more for does who look for nightlife and a more busy area. BoPhut is the better place to relax. I...

First thing to say about this place is that is very old. Early 90s old. They have TVs with the massive back part still and the computers with massive back part. No flat screens here. On arrival you will be greeted with a friendly face and given a nice glass of cold juice. Perfect on a hot day. The rooms...

We have never visited Koh Samui before and so we decided to give it a go, with a short break. We ended up staying 4 nights at this hotel and we have no complaints. The pool was good and clean, the beach area was nice and reasonably quiet, the breakfast buffet was good and the rooms were clean, with good...

Dear Del E Thank you very much for your personal comment regarding your visit to Palm Beach Resort. I am glad to see that we met all your expectations during your visit with us. We (couple) stayed here for 9 nights in July-August 2015. Although parts of the hotel are a little dated, they are maintained to a high standard. We stayed in a Royal Deluxe room, which was very large with a superking (I think) bed, a sofa, a balcony and a large bathroom (with separate bath and shower; and western toilet). Although...

I stayed with my better half in this hotel. This hotel is highly recommended if you are planning a trip to Koh Samui. Not only the services are good, but the hotel rates are also very economical. It is located at a good location as well, which makes your commute easy to the whole island.
