Its really quiet and with a good restaurant at the beach. Quite confy and the bangalows are clean and with a nice balcony. A nice breakfast looking at the beach makes sure you start your day in the best way. th swiming pool has a bar and thai massage. The location is great, close enought from the island center and...

We will definitely be returning however you should realise this is certainly a 'rustic' resort and the bungalows are basic. The service is excellent and the staff incredibly helpful and efficient !!. Any request was always met with a smile. The restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced. Beautiful, quiet beach with no risk of getting run over by a jetski....

We just stayed at WR for the 7th time and it is one of the very few places that I have ever returned to regularly. Do not expect 5star facilities but do expect one of the most friendly environments you will ever find in Thailand (which is saying something). The staff are helpful, polite courteous and have that Thai welcoming...

This was our first stay at World Resort, however, my family who we were travelling with had stayed there several times. The staff were really friendly, especially Kew, the lovely lady who looks after the pool bar. Nice spa facilities (if a tad limited) and decent food. World Resort has an excellent location, walking distance from Fisherman's Village. They were...

I am currently staying at world resort and unfortunately the accommodation is a bit of a let down. We paid extra for a superior bungalow hoping for a bit more privacy but unfortunately these are all semi-detached with interlinking doors. This subsequently means that every conversation that the room next door are having can be heard word for word in...

We stayed in for 2 weeks at this resort, on our first night; we were given the smallest bungalow to accommodate two adults, a 4 year old and a 22 month old. The room only had a double bed and a cot so nowhere for my eldest to sleep. We asked to change rooms only to be told to wait...

The World Resort in Samui celebrated this year its 35th birthday. When you walk the premises you can see the age. Some of the bungalows look this old. They look old but there is a lot of stuff working to keep them in order. The stuff is kind and helpful. The restaurant offers a good breakfast with the choice of...

Would encourage anyone to stay here. Koh Samui is hectic but the second you arrive on the premises it is quiet and relaxing. We stayed in the bungalows and it was a clean decent value. The resteraunt was clean and right on the beach. Besides the breakfast we had dinner there and it was also well prepared and reasonably priced....

We stayed here 2 times in September 2013. For the price paid (around £24 per night Bed and Breakfast) we could not complain and were more than happy. The hotel is located on Bophut Beach which is great if you like to chill out and not have the madness of Chaweng bearing down on you. That said, Chaweng is only...
