Cheap, comfy bed, cold aircon. But above all the dude at the counter is super helpful, from what to do, where to eat, and how to go about getting where you want to. Total legend, I would stay here again.

Stayed here for 10 days during october and left only with positive memories. Guesthouse is owned by family who seems to really care of your stay. Even before my arrival I asked and got the best advice how to arrive to the guesthhouse from Suratthani airport. The owner brothers also helped with many things such as giving tips around island,... We stay here already the second time and would always return! Tim and his family are gorgeous, friendly and with a huge portion of charme! The location is phantastic, right across the street you'll reach the sea within a minute, restaurants and bars are all around and still it is quiet all day and night. The rooms are big enough,... I was in Koh Samui for a side trip vacation in Thailand and booked a room right at the night. The owner helped me get the room ready at almost midnight, They are so accommodating, friendly and extremely kind. The reception personnel were very helpful in advise on what to do in the island. The room was very comfortable and... More

Colibri guest house is near Chaweng beach, which is the "happening" side of Koh Samui, which means that it's only a short distance to everything you would need or want. Shops, the beach, and decent bars/restaurants are only a few minutes walk, which we found very useful. It's also quite quiet, which is a good thing as it's down a... More

Family own guest house that go out of their way to help. Clean rooms that are affordable for a couple. Quite and close to the beach, night food market and the mall. WiFi was good, Motorbike renter next door with great bikes for 150 baht a day. Tim was very personable and even gave us a ride to the pier... More

The owner, a German guy, checked us in when we arrived during the day. He didn't really seem very motivated while checking us in and I thought he might just have a bad day. Turns out he's always like that. The room was okay, there were some mosquitoes, the air conditioner wouldn't sufficiently cool the room but it was clean... More

We booked online for our first night in koh samui hoping it would make it easier. We arrived at 10pm to find an empty reception desk. We called 3 different phone numbers we had and no one answered. 45 minutes later, still no one. As we'd already paid for a room with guaranteed late arrival, we had a look around... More
