Most friendly, welcoming and helpful receptionist ever. Great, affordable and neat rooms especially the business class. Nice taste of the wooden touch especially at the bar. The place is in town and close to the main road and a 24 hours service station. Would have rated it 5 if they had a swimming pool

Got to the venue at night, found the "business class" room to be a main road bordeting, pre fabricated, pigeon hole, with utilitarian loud harsh fluorescent light, no bed side lamp, filthy shower floor and garish decor. If it's not the trucks rumbling past at all hours of the night, that keeps you awake, the screaming and shouting at truck...

We couldn't afford anything else in Katima but we had to find somewhere for the night. I had seen the reviews but as we had no choice we were prepared for the worst , , , what a pleasant surprise! We stayed in a double room with en suite bathroom - not luxurious but clean and comfortable. The air conditioner...

The service at the restaurant at Mukusi Cabins is truly appalling. We had booked a table for 7pm, and were there promptly and ordered right away. Firstly, almost all the items on the menu weren't available - there were four meals that were available, out of about 20 on the menu. This was not uncommon - it happened on two...

Towels are terrible no wonder some guests use them for cleaning their shoes etc... Toilet was licking and bed linen is a disaster sorry to mention it but its...

I stayed at Mukusi Cabins for one night and was very disappointed. I asked for the budget room, which has shared bathroom facilities and a fan instead of aircon. The room was in a very shabby two-story building with paper-thin walls and ceilings, which meant I could follow my neighbours conversations word by word, and when my upstairs neighbours were...

With a variety of rooms available, and cheapish prices, if you need to be in Katima and don’t have a ton of cash, then this place is ok. We took a standard twin with no aircon. It was very very hot. If you have the money, opt for air con. The restaurant is very good, with large portions and tasty...
