Vista Atenas was a wonderful introduction to Costa Rica - after a long transatlantic flight it was so comforting to be picked up by Vista Atenas drivers at the airport, have a good night's rest and wake up to expansive views of Costa Rica's central plateau. Without leaving the B&B you can walk through the expansive gardens and spot native...

A perfect view of central Costa Rica. Very clean rooms, eating area, lounge, and pool. My room was only five feet from the pool and 10 feet from a view of paradise. Jonathan was very helpful with my day excursions and insight into Tico culture. I had arranged for the $35.00 taxi pick up from the airport. The entire process...

Vista Atenas B&B was a wonderful combination of luxury and affordability. The location is great with an expansive view of the valley and our room had windows and a sliding door that opened to the outdoors. The service was nice and staff very helpful in working out certain trip logistics we encountered. We were very pleased!

We stayed here for a total of 3 nights in February. This was the first place we stayed in CR and it was a very good first impression of this beautiful country. The manager, Jonathan was very helpful. He arranged taxi rides, car rentals, airport pick up & drop off and so much more. Just a real pleasant person. Vera,...

Our stay at the Vista Atenas B & B was a little slice of heaven. Vera, the owner is a delight and provided us with information about the area and arranged for our airport pickup for only $35. The location overlooking the valley is spectacular and we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the beautiful gardens. Jonathan is a delight and...

Visa Atenas was recommended by some gals I met at the Conchal Hotel on the Pacific and I was not disappointed with either place. I found Vista Atenas well run with friendly support staff, in particular the truly wonderful Jonathan. Also they serve a pretty good breakfast. The view is really spectacular, the coffee tour was worth going to and...

I did not hesitate to arrange to stay here based on the reviews of other travellers and we were not disappointed!!! This charming bed and breakfast is lovely and the view of Atenas and surrounding area is stunning!!! We arranged to do the El Toledo Coffee tour ( which I highly recommend doing when in Atenas) before check-in and Vera,...

Beautiful location and views! We had a room in the back by the pool which was quiet and had a great view! Vera, the owner was so helpful. She even gave us a botanical tour of the property. She also arranged an airport shuttle for me for 4 AM for just $35! And he was on time! Would definitely stay...

First the good: The view is amazing!! The cool breeze was welcome after being at the beach all week. We stayed our last night in Costa Rica to be closer to airport. Hard to believe the airport was so close to this quiet place. Good Wi-fi. The bad: The rooms are VERY simple (no TV, no surface space, low water...
