This was our second trip to the Amalia Apartments and we were not disappointed. The apartments have been updated and it makes for a more comfortable stay. We were in a studio apartment this time and it was enormous! Clean and fresh with a huge balcony we sat and watched the world go by. The owners are pleasant and helpful... More

We have been staying at Amalia at least twice a year since 2008 It is an excellent facility both socially and facility wise with superb rooms which were made even better after a refurbishment a couple of years ago The staff are excellent and we have never had any problems at all. Bali is a great village and I would... More

An excellent hotel in the lovely village of Bali. This small hotel/apartments is exceptionally clean, fresh and attractive. There are rooms with inland and sea views. Our room (room1) was spotless and equipped with television, hot rings and a fridge. There was a slight lack of equipment (cutlery, bread board, extra pillows, extra blanket, coat hangers etc) but all of... More

Great stay. We had plenty of room as a couple in a very spacious seaview apartment. It was clear that a family could have also been comfortable there. As it was the tail end of the season, Bali was very quiet. Great for privacy and quiet. I can't say what it would be like in high season. For the sea... More

We were really pleased with our stay in Amalia and will thoroughly recommend this place. We arrived by KTEL bus from Heraklion. The buses are modern air conditioned similar to National Express, cost 4.90 euro per person with 50 min journey time and some fantastic views of the Cretan coast line. The bus halts on the main highway 2 kms... More

This was our 3rd time in the Amalia apartments and they only get better, they have spent a lot of money on a refurb of the rooms, pool area and bar all of which is lovely. The apartments are set on a hill as is all of Bali overlooking one of the 3 bays and mountains. The rooms are spacious,... More

Quick review written from my balcony at the Amalia Apartments watching a lovely sunrise before we leave. Firstly like others have said a lot of the pictures are old. The new decor, bathrooms and pool area are beautiful and modern. Rooms have nice high ceilings and plenty of space. Bali itself is a pretty little place also. This is no... More
