The hotel is very comfortable and the staff are very welcoming. The gardens are lovely and the pool is superb, large and safe with lots of sunny and shady places to relax. Breakfast was served in the garden and the food was very good. Ca del Moro is walking distance into Pontremoli (15 minutes, fairly flat) which is a lovely... More

We were unlucky with the weather as it rained most of our time at Ca del Moro but it is a very comfortable and spacious resort so it was easy to while away the time. The resort is a 30 minute walk from the town centre so you need a car or enjoy walking. In the summer it would be... More

We stayed overnight at Ca Del Moro, while motoring to Elba. The hotel is plainly & simply furnished, but very comfortable. Very good evening meal and breakfast. Did not have time to enjoy the open air pool, perhaps next time. Excellent value for money, at a reasonable price.

Ca' del Moro was the last stop on our one week spring trip to Tuscany. We felt like it was time to expore the lesser visited corner of Tuscany also named Lunigiana, and so we read the good reviews from other travelers and decided to book a three night stay at Ca del Moro. We were not disappointed. The place... More

We were on a self described Italy tour - meaning no set agenda - and happened upon Ca del Moro. Pontremoli is a gem of a town and Ca del Moro at the end of Sept. was beautiful. Quiet and peaceful surroundings, spacious room with a balcony almost the same size, overlooking part of the 4 hole golf course. We... More

Ca' del Moro is located in the Lunigiana, an interesting corner of Italy not on the itinerary of many foreign travelers. The area is crossed by the Autostrada that links La Spezia and Parma. Looking for overnight accommodations in the area, we settled on Ca' del Moro. It bills itself as a resort with golf opportunities--there are a limited number... More
