This B&B is in a lovely old house situated on a working vineyard. Our room was well appointed and comfortable, and the views were amazing. Breakfasts were pleasant. We had some difficulty with language - not a lot of English spoken here. We were basically left to our own devices to figure out dining and sightseeing. Because of the rural...

"Exceptionally clean and comfortable." Lives up to its existing reviews, its a very cute rustic cottage but best of all run with excellence , perfection and attention to detail. The owners are very sweet people and very professional at the same time, this is probably the cleanest property I have stayed at in my entire life. Big luxury hotels should...

This wine grower petite chateau is situated in the midst of a vineyard, so the views from the house are amazing. We were given some great tips from Clement recommending two fine restaurants in the area which we subsequently visited and enjoyed. We learnt a lot also about the local wine appellations of the Bordeaux region from Clement, and also...

We arrived late at night after a long journey and Clement, the owner's son was extremely welcoming & friendly. The house is absolutely beautiful, homely and we really did not want to leave. We visited nearby St Emilion, a chateau for a degustation on the recommendation of Clement, a beautiful restaurant by the riverside, and they were all amazing. We...

We were travelling home from Spain and looked for a quiet stopover B&B in St Emilion area. We pre-booked La Closerie and were not disappointed. We were welcomed by the owner's son Clement. He provided a wine tasting session for us, with lots of information on the area and on St Emilion wines (speaks good English). We stayed in the...

My husband and I were there in June 2014. The chateau is old beautiful and cozy, the rooms are kept clean and tidy. Mr Alain was very friendly and helpful with everything that we need his assistants with. It is in very picturesque setting in the heart of Bourdaux wine country, you can have a picnic right in the back...

We had a lovely time in Saint-Émilion, discovering a great jewel of a town. It was wonderful to return to a lovely inn at the end of each day, quiet, clean and welcoming. Our host was extremely helpful and kind and offered a top notch breakfast each morning. We particularly appreciated our lesson about Bordeaux wines while enjoying our host's...

After a beautiful walk in the middle Fronsac vineyards, Alain enthusiastically received us at his home and (around two glasses of his own wine) taught us about Bordeaux winery and "terroir". Inspiring! Right next to Libourne and St Emilion, here you will find local charm, peaceful nature and great kindness. Oh yes, organic breakfast (for girls like me). Highly recommended!
