We've staid there with friends (3 families) and enjoyed or time very much. Well, true is that hotel doesn't look particularly attractive from outside but it is perfectly equipped for ski hols with handful of little kids. Location is just perfect - you can ski just to the middle station of ski area with number of apre ski's. If kids...

Great location for Hinterstoder ski slopes. The staff are really friendly and helpful, all with a great knowledge of several languages. The food was plentiful and fresh, a small choice daily but catered for all needs. The hotel was clean and well looked after, the pool and sauna area was quiet and relaxing too. Very much enjoyed our stay.

The hotel's location is really unbeatable, since it is located on the mountain. Nice scenery view from the room. Food was very good and staff was kind and helpful. Pool was small but good, sauna was nice and hot. Rooms were clean. However they would need to spend maybe a bit more on certain things, e.g. quality furniture, newer toys,...

Great location close to slopes & lifts. We have been coming regularly around Christmas time in the past eight years and always were met with extremely friendly staff and feel-like-home attitude of the owners - Sedlak family. Especially recommendable for families with children - they would enjoy spacious playroom, pool, sauna and children buffet available most of the day.

There are two main plus points of this hotel; location (close to slopes and lifts) and friendly and very helpful staff. By way of example on our arrival we were offered a suite instead of two double rooms we booked which suited my family much better. And we were charged for two double rooms which was couple of hundred euro...

This was the fourth time we had stayed at the Berghotel. And we were not alone. Throughout the hotel it was clear familes and groups of friends visit year after year. Situated half way up the mountain at the middle station, the Berghotel is not the place to stay if you want loud and action packed apres ski. But if...
