My husband and I recently visited Villa Jibacoa for the second time. We brought along our two adult daughters as we loved it so much the first time, we wanted to share it with them. It was all that we hoped for, a week of hanging out together on the beach, playing games in the bar in the evenings, clapping...

My husband, 12 yr old daughter and I arrived on Dec 17, 2016 and spent 2 weeks here in Bungalow 81. At first when we arrived after midnight and for a couple days I wondered what we had done. BUT, after 3 days I realized it was almost perfect. True one pool was under renovation, true there are sand fleas...

Staying there was big mistake. Me and my boyfriend were travelled around Cuba for 16 days and this was most horrible accommodation. Every casa (five casas) where we stayed was far away better than this all included hotel. - there was no water in swimming pool, it was Christmas, high season and swimming pool is out of order, great -...

I have reviewed this resort before and keep returning - so you can assume I like this place, but here are some updates: Part of the pool is under renovation. One half is still open. Expected opening is Feb 2017... There is a lovely addition (covered patio) to the a la carte/pool-bar building. It was used for some daytime games...

The week was fantastic....full sunshine and a most wonderful location....beautifully landscaped....... the whole area looked like it had been nurtured and lovingly cared for and there were only 100 little villa type rooms spread out so that you felt like you had the whole place to yourself. The beach was very pretty and clean and the area is known for...

Our visit was pretty unpleasant. The resort buffet served us raw fish off the grill 3 days in a row. I returned to the buffet to grab spaghetti instead and they had ran out of spaghetti, with no sign of getting anymore anytime soon. We went hungry. The bed sheets are rather dirty and the sand fleas at this resort...

My husband and I have been to this resort many times, going back soon and I am glad to read that little has changed. What else can I say, this is probably going to be our 7th visit? It is peaceful, the people are friendly, you will not go hungry, but do not expect anything fancy. The rooms are kept...

We returned here and found that in fact it had slightly improved since our visit 10 years ago. Still feels like a family, with many employees still working here. The grounds are still well kept and so pretty! The food is not gourmet, but I always found fresh fish, seafood, roasted meats, fruit, veggies, homemade breads, pastries and ice cream...

Just returned from Villa Jibacoa. We are repeat customers. Great to see our many Cuban and Canadian friends, also met some new ones as well. Things that needed to get fixed are being fixed, we saw many improvements. Best trip we have had so far. Had a great time snorkeling and enjoying the sun. Ruddy is doing a great job...

Stayed here a couple of seasons ago. The grounds are superb as are the bungalows which one should book. Food just okay to good the first week and very bad the next! Dining are is hot, and can be uncomfortable...lots of a/c units but few working, lots of overhead fans but few working, only one grill line, often not enough...
