The hotel rooms are refurbished traditional cottages, arranged around a larger building which serves as reception, bar and restaurant. With the exception of the very hard beds, they are comfortable and spacious. The food was very good with one excellent dinner of a traditional cod dish baked in a loaf of bread washed down with a carafe of local wine....

This is certainly a getaway from busy city life, as even mobile phones have a limited net coverage. The abandoned cottages have been restored in an impressive manner with a respect for the traditions. It was cool during the night, but warm in the cosy cottage. I was not on a holiday, but I can imagine the appeal of the...

A unique place to stay. Your own little cottage in a rural village. Everybody was super friendly and helpful. The dinner in the evening was AMAZING and the breakfast gorgeous the next day. It wasn't the most comfortable of beds and we couldn't get the hang of the lights, but it was a great experience.

Visited with the whole family and everybody loved it! Totally different experience in 100% natural setting. The townhouses are lovely, the service is cozy and the food was delicious. During the day we explored the trails which I would highly recommend. We will come back!

Great place, very unique, set in peaceful valley very close to the beach. Two very good food options available onsite. Wondering in cobbled streets of small village that was brought back from ruin is simply magical. It is also located at the most stunning part of Algarve coast.

Our stay in Pedralva was not at all what we were looking for and we ultimately left a day early in order to find another, more relaxing place to stay. I'd like to begin with the plusses - the staff were all very nice and the food was excellent. If you are in the area and looking for a place...

“All rooms are nice though some are bigger than others. Comfortable beds and it is so quiet that you should sleep well. A little kitchenette was a bonus for making tea or for preparing a light meal as the market in nearby Villa do Bispo is wonderful.”
