So I booked Urvashi for a trip with my family keeping in mind ITC standards. No doubt it is one of the finest ITC resorts and its my 6th or 7th visit so far to Manali. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. PROS: A luxury resort with remote location, close to nature. Comfortable rooms Hospitable staff In the lap of nature Delicious food Dog friendly CONS Hotel approach is very uncomfortable and you can not do anything about it. If you have a big car then its going to be a headache for you. Breakfast is average No morning bakery though its an ITC property. But you can buy the bakery from them, never seen such a weird thing anywhere like this. Rest all was good. Dear Mr. Rohit, Thank you for your kind e-mail, I am delighted to know that you had an enjoyable stay with us. My staff too joins me in thanking you for your warm compliments, it definitely incentivises us to strive further for the better. As for the approach to the hotel via Nehrukund, may I inform you for any future visits that mighth be on the charts for you that we do offer not just one, but two more alternative routes to our resort. One is via the Clubhouse Road access and the other, through Palchan. Both these routes make sure you avoid Nehrukund (the narrow bridge) entirely. In fact, this is also mentioned on our website very clearly in order to make our visitors undergo lesser inconvenience. Secondly, I have factored in your request for an in-houde bakery, which has been in the pipeline for a while now. However, I would like to clarify that we are not a strictly ITC property (yet), and are only affiliated with WelcomHeritage for marketing and sales purposes (WH is a JV of ITC, so there is a difference in standard and implementation as you might understand. We are, strictly speaking, an entirely independently run boutique hotel that falls within the Khimsar Group of Hotels). Hence, this requisite does not fit in just as yet. That said, I have been devising a system to create and implement an in-house bakery. The paid counter is an entirely different avenue altogether, and is served in addition to the desserts offered in our buffet fares. I hope I have been able to resolve this misunderstanding of yours. Lastly, I am in touch with Mary (my front office manager) directly and will make sure for your invoice to reach you by tomorrow. Kindly check your spam folder as well just to be sure. This property is just beautiful and the villas are just amazing. The rooms are beautifully designed with so many amenities. They have really thought about on how to make the space sustainably luxurious and it shows. I particularly liked the thoughtful notes scattered all around the villa. You will have the best shower experience with the amazing rain shower and kama toiletries. The views....just amazing....when you wake up..u will see the mountains and the clouds from their large glass windows. the location is also good as it is very close to old Manali and cafe 1947. Also Solong and Rohtang pass is just 1 hr and 2 hrs away respectively. The only disclaimer i would like to give to ppl who are new to Manali will be that the shortest route to the property is via a very narrow…

It was our second visit this year ( which was originally meant to be for 2 weeks and we stayed 3 weeks - had it not been for another booking we would have stayed longer ) with our toddler and pet , our first visit was when it opened ( that time too we extended our stay - never want to leave ) with our pet dog and would go more often if it were not for the distance! every time has felt very special, we feel like we are in our own home and also like a most welcome special guest. Our daughter did not want to come back and rarely wanted to be inside the room, the brook was a treat for her as were the apple and cherry trees. I along with my family stayed in Duplex type Rohtang view room for 4 nights. Room is very nice. All the services were excellent, however when went for dinner on the first day, we were informed that the dinner is included in the room tarif. However we told the restaurant Manger that at the time of booking, we were told that only BF was included, So we asked him to confirm from reception. He came back and confirmed that it is included, so we had dinner all 4 night of our stay, At the time of check out we were charged for Dinner, which we were not expecting, we had to shell additional 9000 Rs for that, If we were not given the wrong information on first day, we would not have taken buffet dinner as it was not worth that much money.
