This review is little lengthy as we had a worst experience ever. We had booked this villa for 14 members (all family members including 2 kids and 5 ladies) for 4 nights in February 1st week .. we had booked this villa before 15 days considering and discussing with host Mr Vikas Sharma such as all weather conditions as heavy snowfall and after effects.. this villa is located near Jogini waterfall 300 meters inside from main Highway.. we were in touch with host (who was out of town) and the caretaker Rinku from last 24 hours regarding our check in and arrival at Manali.. On the day of check in also we called Rinku and informed about that we are on the way to villa. Since it was heavily snowing from last few days, road from main road connecting to the villa was not accessible by normal cars.. so we booked a 4*4 vehicle for a distance of 300 meters. That vehicle also couldn't reach destination so we walked another 5 mins from a snow covered roads... This all was ok as we were excited to check in the villa.. However on reaching the villa, main entrance gate was locked from inside.. we called out for Rinku he didn't come so we called him on his phone which he didn't bother to answer.. after screaming and calling his name for 5-10 mins another Person appeared who was the owner of the villa. Then we came to know that owner stays in villa premises only and Mr Vikas has been given the property on lease. Owner didn't allow us entry.. he was very angry with vikas / the bookings being taken as there was no electricity, water connection due to heavy snowfall.. we were shocked with what all was happening. He didn't open the gate we were standing outside the gate in heavy snowfall. Owner said that he is not going to open the gates in whatever conditions as there were no basic necessities available. Our concern is we were not informed or communicated with all above conditions or status.. we had to find out another accomodation last moment with heavy prices that too in bad weather. We got our booking amount returned but we had to go through a worst nightmare one can ever imagine.. please don't book this villa, care taker and host both are not trust worthy.. total control is in the hands of an owner. Road are not accessible during winters. Worst experience ever👎🏻…
Booked this place for 4 nights and we were utterly disappointed with the way things turned out. Contacted the host, Mr V for booking. Was even in contact with the caretaker (Rinku) till last moment to assess conditions to reach the villa but upon reaching the property we weren't allowed to enter the premises. The owner asked us to call the police and file a complaint against the host. Owner and host are having some legal dispute between them. We hired a 4*4 to reach here, as it was snowing and with a family of 12 members and luggage we had to face such harrasment. The host and caretaker knew very well about the situation but they dint bother to inform us. The advance payment made was refunded to us. But, whatever happened was not at all acceptable. Avoid this property.
Its a great place with many great things. Its a best place to stay if you want to stay out of crowd. The best part is this villa itself a place to explore in manali with much beautiful views all around. Complete home stay! . Must visit this place. 😍
Ratings: Location/View: 5/5 Property: 5 Room: 5 Bath: 5 Dining hall: 5 Food: 5 We spent 3 days at SMV towards the end of our trip to Spiti Valley. Snow Mount Villa is on the road to Jogini falls. SMV is a beautiful villa among apple, apricot, and other trees as well as many flowering plants. We stayed in the suite on the upper floor. It was big with a balcony facing the snow-clad mountains and a big bathroom. The bed was king-size and very cozy. The bathroom was very clean. The drawing room and the dining room have nice artefacts and antiques. Mr. Sharma warmly hosted us. He is a kind-hearted man of wisdom and a perfect host. We very much enjoyed the sumptuous food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) thanks to Hem. We got to pluck and savour delicious apricot fruits. We very much wish to return to this place on our next visit to Manali. …
osam location , rooms are very good. I spend there 3 days. these days are like live in heaven. The room was well cleaned. The service is too good. The food is also very good. I read the reviews they are fake because there is no one old man owner. I saw owner is so young, smart and handsome.
1. Location A little off from the main road enroute to Rohtang. Although the road that leads to the villa is quite narrow, the destination will blow your mind. One gets a splendid view of snow capped peaks. If there is a place that one should not miss out at Manali, it is definitely Jogni falls. The villa is positioned on the trekking route to the falls, thus serving as an ideal place to refresh during your hike. 2. Host Mr. Ajay Sharma runs the place. He took special care to make us feel comfortable with the place. And the best part was that there was no fixed menu for food. We get to eat the food of our choice. Made me feel like staying at home. 3. Comforts The place has 4 rooms with additional bunk beds in the living room upstairs. The whole place is crafted out of wood and is very beautiful. It does not give the feeling of a hotel. There is a living room & a dining room instead of a lobby & a restaurant. 4. Food & Service - Excellent…
Beyond expectation.Thank you Ajay Sharma for all your hospitality. You won't get a bettter place to stay in Manali.Away from crowd and rush.Peaceful, serene, most beautiful place.Food was awsome. We would like to come again & again.Rooms are beyond expectations.Worth a sixth point in all ratings
