By far one of the best places we have ever visited. Everything just changed within a few hours for us, it wasn't a resort anymore, we weren't guests anymore, the staff and each and every one just embraced us with their love, compassion and hospitality and in the true sense made us feel that The Golden Tusk is our home, our own.
Each and every one at the property is an asset.
Suresh ji is the gem of the property, he will make you feel that you are visiting his home, his knowledge about nature is commendable, the cherry on top is his patience with which he makes you understand things.
Speaking above patience, if you are excited about the jungle safari and tiger sighting, he is the man who can make it possible. We were fortunate to witness the Tiger crossing only because of him.
The food is something that we haven't experienced in years. I say this is because I haven't touched mutton in more than 10+ years but when I got the Aroma of the mutton cooked by Chef Bhagat ji I immediately had a bite which reminded me of the mutton my nani used to cook, and then I couldn't stop.
The property is maintained as if an entire family is taking care of it. The rooms are very well maintained with all the amenities in place. Hygiene is something which is not compromised even a bit.
We were very fortunate to meet the owners Mr.Anirudh.Lakhotia/Mrs.Kriti.Lakhotia & their two beautiful daughters. Meeting them actually explained everything. The warmth, love compassion and humility is a vibe passed on by these two beautiful people onto the entire staff and the property.

This was one of the best and memorable stay in Corbett. They take extreme precautions in terms of sanitization. From cars to rooms to restaurant. Everything is sanitized all the time. Great property and location is just outside the Jhirna Safari zone. We heard Jackals howling post midnight from our sit out area. Superb staff and hospitality. Staff wore masks all the time and provided sanitizers and masks in every room and restaurant. They even used disinfectant while room cleaning. We took 2 pool view rooms and a villa. Both were good. Villa offers more space and provacy though. Mr. Suresh took us to safari and we spotted 3 tigers on 19th Oct. He was extremely courteous and helpful. Mr Rumi from FnB ensured we get food on time and Food was delicious. Overall our stay was a pleasant and memorable one. Thankful to Mr. Manish for making the booking process smooth and hassle free as per our requirements. Already recommended to friends and family.

I stayed with my husband and family at golden tusk from 16-20th october 2020 and i was delighted with the level of personalized attention i got from the golden tusk staff. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay, room and food was perfect.
The resort is absolutely full of natural beauty and we also did safari in the jhirna region which was very interesting and the naturalist was really knowledgeable.
Even from a COVID precaution point of view, golden tusk staff took all measures to ensure safety. All staffs wore gloves, masks at all times and sanitizers were available in all rooms

To start with, this place is located very near to one of the zones of Jim Corbett National park. So if you are planning to visit the park, this is your place. Once you are here the hotel staff will help to arrange a safari trip for you (please request them in advance)

Me and my husband planned to travel to Jim Corbett and found this resort through MakeMyTrip. The reviews and photos of this place was attractive and we decided to book this hotel. The day we reached the resort we have been welcomed with a tasty welcome drink. We have been accompanied by the staff to our garden view villa and I was quite happy to see the room, we had one small living room, bedroom and changing room with bathroom. The villa was well maintained and and we'll decorated with amenities like electric kettle, tea bags, tv, mini refrigerators and other basic requirements. The resort was really beautiful covered with wide varities of trees, 2 swimming pools, gym, restaurant, bar and spa. We had buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with wide varities of food, food was average. The best part about this resort is their hospitality, the services provided by the staffs are amazing. We booked our Jeep Safari to the national park from resort and to our luck we were able to see tiger on our way. The tour guide and driver were really friendly and they were providing additional info about the place on our visit. In the evening they arrange a romantic candle light dinner near the pool side which we wanted to try but it was booked, but the arrangements were really beautiful. I would highly recommend this place if u guys are planning for Jim Corbett. As per the price range , the resort offers really good service..I had great time.. thank you

Had an awesome time with friends,safari experience would not have been the wonderful without Mr Suresh . Resort has ample space with spacious rooms. Staff made sure the rooms,the common area and the vehicles entering the property was well sanitized. Property is very close to Jhirna safari zone.

The resort is well maintained with different types of stay available from Villas to tents etc.Me and my friend stayed in the villa which was big enough to accommodate an entire family.The resort has 2 well maintained pools, play areas for kids, bonfire, excellent spa facility (the lady at the spa did a very good job) with reasonable rates, the buffet spread is excellent with great tasty food.The reception has a small souvenir shop too to take back memories for your loved ones.The Jhirna range for safari is just 10 minutes from the resort which was an advantge too. The only thing with which we had a complain was as it was too cold, the heater was too small for the villa and could not be moved around from the single point where it was fixed. Apart from this small glitch it was a great stay and hoping to come back with my family soon but during summers :)

Stayed at the resort for a week in July 2021. The rsort was open during the month of June as well but the visitors started pouring in after Covid second wave waned in July 2021. Was impressed by the way our car was sanitised at the entrance unders a shower of sanitiser spray. The rsort is located in Dhela area which is about 20 kms away from the main Dhikuli area. So I was a little exasperated during 40 minutes drive from Dhikuli specially the part through the village fields. But at the end of it all the resort is a pleasant surprise with its extensive forestation and variety of plantation. The resort is spread in nine acres which has been totally turned into a jungle experience with dense green cover. Many variety of plants and trees have taken root and are very very healthy. The trees and plants are duly labelled so its a great experience and learning for the kids.
The food at the restaurant is delicious and the complementary evening tea in the lawns is genuine and enjoyable. The best part of the stay is the superlative service and super friendly staff., which ever ready to anticipate your needs and fulfil the same. The resort is dispersed but room service is super quick with the order delivered in short time with a smile. Check in was very smooth and through out the stay they continued to delight without giving any cause to complain.
When I requested a different room because the room allotted was a little dark and I was not able to able to concentrate on my writing, Digvijay Singh from the front office was quick to oblige with a smile and show me a different room with a pool view. The room was very good, lighted and well appointed. Actually the best rooms are the pool view. Actually I think all the rooms are one bedroom apartments with older ones with a little smaller windows. But the newer ones by pool side are very well located with lots of large windows and view.
I would come over again when the opportunity arises. By the way I was staying alone since I wanted to catch up with my writing and it was an excellent stay to do the same.

Thank you for a lovely stay at the Golden Tusk Resorts, Jim Corbett. We have been to a number of holidays earlier, but this truly was an exhilarating experience.The double interconnected, very comfortable and lavish rooms were very a high point of the stay. The food layout and service of the staff was exemplary. There was not a moment when we felt disappointed of our decision to have taken your package, our entire stay being very relaxing.The kids had a wonderful time and we just do not know how time there just flew by.The property is very well managed and beautiful and service is very prompt.The food was very delicious with an awesome spread and things around very tastefully done.

I stayed in this resort during my visit to jim corbbet from 25-26 Mar 2021. it was an awsome trip. Loved the resort. The location is best for those who want to visit Jim Corbbet from Dhela side entry as its just 500-700 mtrs away from entry gate. The property itself is to be loved. Beautiful resort , awsome land scaping and hospitality. Safety measures were at its peak due to corona from entering the resorts with shoe sole dip in sanitizer, sanitised reserved table in restaurant for every family and every other little bit. Staff is very quick to help at any point. Special mention to Mr Digvijay, front desk manager and Mr. Romi, F&B Manager. The food menu was really elaborated and at same time cater to your taste buds completely. A big Thanks to all at Golden Tusk Resort to make it really memorable trip. The Golden Tusk is sprawling over 9 acres of exquisitely landscaped estate, at the edge of Jim Corbett National Reserve & on the banks of the monsoon river Dhela. The Kosi river is at 15Km from resort in Ramnagar town.
Yes there are indoor games for the kids.
Also there are other activities like wall climbing, zip line, Burma bridge, tyre climbing etc.
Hotel organize bird watching with naturalist everyday.
Reg safari: advise to book in advance. If you r lucky then will get on the spot booking.

We sanitize our vacant room with both liquid based disinfectants & thermal fogging – All surfaces are carefully wiped/ mopped with recommended disinfectants & protocol for various surfaces. High Touch surfaces like Telephone, Handles, Chairs etc. are wiped with added care. This is followed by thermal fogging post which the room is not opened until the check-in by the guest. The Linen is washed with recommended chemicals at high temperature.
