We stayed in Ambient hotel for our weekend getaway. There are pros and cons. Pros: Good variety of food. Waiters made sure nothing is missing. Nice swimmung pools and relaxing area. Friendly and helpful stuff. Cons: Room is not 4star hotel like. Waiters in the restaurant speak english badly. Mattress in our bed was very cheap and bad, we had our backaches the other day. Sauna place could be more modernised. Bowling alley opens till 9 pm. There was nothing to do in the hotel after dinner.
Very child friendly. Might come here again with our kids but not as a solo couple wanting for a relaxed and romantic weekend.

We spent a weekend here. There was nothing extra in our room, and what was really missing was a kettle.
The hair dryer stopped about every 20 seconds. We also went down to the dressing room, but there was only one working picture because the other one was broken. A larger crown of hair could not be dried.
We also wanted to use a steam cabin, but it didn't work. By the way, what raises the rating is dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was nice.

There is no hot water at all for the working people who occupy and work there. Even after several warnings (days have passed) the situation has not been resolved. Always referring to pipe breaks, guests have had to bathe in cold water for several days. I am upset because it's a four-stars-hotel, right?

This was our second visit and we are satisfied with the renovation. The staff was extremely friendly. The food for dinner and breakfast was great. The area around the pool and sauna after the renovation looks great. We are very pleased with our stay.👍

This was our 2nd time to spend a beautiful and relaxing weekend at this hotel. Spa is huge and fantastic. The several pools, saunas are all amazing. We will definitely go there again. Breakfast and dinner were very delicious and more than enough. :) Nice crew and lovely Christmas decoration.

I found Sikonda Wellness Hotel on the internet by accident. Though not easy to approach the place without a car, it' worth going and spending a few nights. Especially if you need an escape and want to get away from the noises of civilization. It has an excellent thermal bath, good service and an agreeable restaurant. The main assets of the place: tranquility, good air and wonderful natural environment, ideal for walks. A 15-minute bus ride to nearby Komló is recommended only for those who want to see a once flourishing mining city run down to poverty. A victim of transition from Communism to the not-so-brave world of Capitalism.

this hotel is a great place to stay and relax if you are in the area, my wife has family in komlo but i always insist on staying for a few nights, the location is great, its set in the mountain range that surrounds komlo, its lush green forrests and lakes make for great walks, just watch out for the hourse flys. the hotel is very nice and always clean, the staff speak some english i think but as my wife is hungarian she does all the talking. the rooms are a good size and the beds are good and the bedding is just ok. the pool area is great and nice to relax all day in the sun. the if you go full board you will not be dissapointed with the meals, its buffe style and always is full of flavour.

The room was modern, tidy, clean and spacious. The staff was helpful. The meals were great. Free parking is also a good thing. There is a bowling alley within the hotel. :) The room and the restaurant were at a lewel of a 4 star hotel. Pools and saunas are not in the ranking of 4 star hotel. The space between saunas is messy and should be better maintained.
