In comparing campgrounds along the Alcan, this camping area is a treasure. New owners have done a lot to renovate this original 1942 staging area from the building of the Alaska Highway. Our camp site was pull through with lots of shade trees (Thank you!). Lots of places to take a walk - Teslin River is beside the campground with....

A little gem in the middle of nowhere. Sandy and Frank make you feel right at home while they serve up terrific food and some fine beers too. Both like a good laugh and good people (so be one when you get there) The rooms are a bit small but comfortable. The food and the hosts make up for any...

We'd stopped by on our way to Whitehorse, for some Cinnamon buns (best in the Yukon!) and made a reservation for our way back. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable and the staff were friendly, What more can you ask?

Great hospitality! Great food! Affordable! This is the second year I have stayed at Johnson's Crossing with Sandy and Frank and I will be back again next year. It is like staying with family. In fact, they are even nicer than my family.

We always stop in for a meal when traveling down the highway. It is a great spot with good food and super nice staff/owners! Its nice to see places like this along the highway still. Had a cute little shop with some yukon made things too!

The owners are friendly and welcoming, staying open to wait for us when we called from Whitehorse. The rooms are small but meticulously clean, and the bed comfortable. There is a restaurant with good home-cooked food, and baked goods, and a shop with interesting local goods. Prices are reasonable and this is a regular stop for us when passing through...

We stayed here October 18, 2016 on our 6th night of our trip from Kentucky to Anchorage. We were moving my daughter, son-in-law and grandpuppy to Anchorage. We didn't arrive until almost 8:00 p.m., but received a very friendly welcome. Some of us (3 couples) enjoyed a good meal and some of us were more tired than hungry. The room...

In the middle of nowhere, this lovely motel was all that we needed. It was spotlessly clean, had a restaurant on site for a good dinner & breakfast at a very good rate. Our room had 2 single beds & a little balcony.

This is the second time we have stayed here, coming and going. The back rooms facing the river have a nice view of the bridge and a small balcony. The Dow side is you get the traffic noise of the trucks going across the bridge. The front rooms are quieter but not view or balcony. The rooms are small, clean...
