To get to the Black River Gorge from Chamarel you would need to hire a car or a private taxi as it is quite a long way from this hotel. I would say its around 6/8 miles away.

That said, if he doesn't mind being ferried around, I'm sure the staff would be happy to take him around in the buggy!
