We stayed in the B&B for two nights, but both concluded we would not want to stay another night. The breakfast is very parcimonious. The hostess did try her best, but I agree with comments which said, they couldn't wait for us to leave for the day. The bedroom was the biggest issue. They only offered milk powder for the...

We had to find some accommodation at fairly short notice and this was the only one available - I now know why! This place could be great. The farmhouse is gorgeous and the house is full of interesting memorabilia. However, the minute you step through the door the smell of stale smoke hits you - the bedding and the threadbare...

Could this be the worst B&B in England? Not only the owners are unspeakably rude, but dirty too. The bathroom is disgusting I had to wash the bath before I could have a shower... if I can call it a shower, the water flow is so small I could not wash my hair. There is only one bathroom/toilet for so...

When I stayed at this beautiful located farmhouse, with my mother and grandmother for one night. We found the family room charming, and rustic as a farm house should be. The breakfast was adequate, and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. We will be visiting again.

This is a very basic, traditional country farm house. The house is old, the decoration is old, the beds are old, its like stepping back in time. It was clean, well as clean as an old house full of old things can be, but the bedding did have a slight musty smell about it. You have to share a bathroom,...

Room was spacious and comfortable for three of us, with clean linen. The only negative was the one bathroom, but it was big enough with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was better than expected, a typical English fry up! Also cereal was available if required. Friendly owners. I would definitely go again. Charming farmhouse experience.

My partner had booked a weekend here as a surprise, so I had not seen the website until we returned. Had I seen it I would have been looking forward to our stay in a spacious airy room similar to the ones shown on the website. The reality could not have been more different. In my opinion, the website is...

Like several others we booked this relatively late AND forgot to look on Trip Adviser. We were only guests on first night (surprise, surprise) yet we were given tiny rooms!! Our group were expected to share a bathroom with inter-communicating doors from both bedrooms!! The twin room had no chair & nowhere to hang clothes. Beds not made, cups not...

The farmhouse is located near Wingham in Kent and is in a fantastic rural location with some very friendly rare breed pigs (which the kids loved). However, we were sharing a bathroom with at least one other room, there was no soap in the bathroom and the towel wasn't changed for the three days we stayed. Hot water was in...

“Couldn't give a tip for choosing a good room - see my comments above. The French system about inspecting a room before choosing would be best applied here.”

“We stayed in a great room decorated with collected travelling artefacts and ancient furniture. i liked it a lot. The room could sleep five with a double bed, 2 singles and a z-bed. Mine was very soft and comfortable. Shared bathroom but even that was quaint and interesting.”
