We stayed in a Japanese style room which was a nice experience. Greeted on arrival and introduced to our room with a tea ceremony. The view of Fuji behind the lake is simply breathtaking. The bar man downstairs was very friendly, despite speaking only a small amount of English. He was very happy when I asked for his recommended drinks,...

This is a really dated hotel, like something from an 80s tv show. Most of the hotels in this area are quite old I guess. It does have a view of the Fujisan, we saw a really stunning sunrise at about 5am one day. The view was worth every penny. But if you are looking for a modern room, I...

I really can see fujisan from my room. The onsen is good and quite. You can enjoy do onsen and see fujisan at the same time. The staff are nice. They provide car to pick you or to take you to kawaguchiko station. The location maybe little far from kawaguchiko station but if you buy ticket sightseeing bus, the bus...

Our room (Western) was very dated as described by others. But we had a spectacular view of Mt Fuji during our stay. There is artwork everywhere throughout the hotel and a wonderful library in the lobby-- fantastic! The decor is really lovely and charming. And the restaurant is wonderful -- our meals were fantastic. I would certainly return here.

I come to Kawaguchiko because of the nice scenary of Fuji from the lake here. Mizuno hotel was the place we chose to stay. We found that here is a very a nice and calm. The location is up to a small hill that should not convenient for someone who need to walk to here but good enough if you...

We had great view of Mt Fuji from our hotel room. But the room itself was dated with dirty looking carpet. We saw a small cockroach in the bathroom which quickly good under the sink cabinet and did not come out the whole time. The location is in a very obscure place that you can not really walk to with...

We spent 1 night here, after a less than memorable stay at an adjoining hotel, they allowed us use of their free pushbikes 6 hours prior to check in, excellent views, yes there's a walk, but the courtesy bus is really flexible with their runs (picked our luggage up from the other hotel to save us the lug up the...

Great hotel in an amazing location! We got a top floor room for best views of Mt Fuji and weren't disappointed. A bit of an uphill walk to get here, but well worth it and courtesy busy is also available. Room was very spacious with a delightful balcony to enjoy the view even more. They also have complimentary bicycle hire...

We loved our Japanese style room and beds! Also opted for the traditional breakfast which was lovely... Spent the whole trip lounging in spa and had a chance to use the outdoor rooftop jacuzzi over sunset. Also just taking in the stunning views from all over the hotel! Just cross your fingers for weather where the view is clear -...

All rooms are facing Mt. Fuji and Kawaguchiko. Beautiful view! The hotel is not new, but as it's in Japanese style, can try the Japanese style bed. While we were having dinner in the restaurant, the housekeeper went to our room and set up the bed. There is also hot spring in the hotel. The ladies outdoor bath can see...
