This was our 3rd hotel in our stay at Lake Kawaguchi and would have been the best if not for the terrible experience at the teppanyaki meal - the irony was that it was supposed to be the highlight of our stay at Kukuna. More of that later. Best Parts of Our Stay: 1. Outdoor terrace onsen on the 5th...

Words cant express sufficiently our delight at our stay at Kukuna Hotel. From the moment we arrived the service was exemplary. Beautiful blueberry tea served whilst we waited. The view from our room was spectacular! We enoyed the onsen outside on the 9th floor with spectacular views over the lake to the mountain. We decided to also indulge in a...

We stayed at this hotel during our family holiday in Japan. We found the room clean but a bit small but did have an incredible view of Mount Fuji. We decided to book a Japanese room which was a great experience. We did find the futon too thin though to be comfortable. The heating in the room was way too...

Pleasantly surprised by the view and the space in the hotel. Best yet the hotel price includes dinner and breakfast. Had yummy lobster and Japanese wagyu on teppanyaki. Onsen was alright though. Great Fuji mountain view

We stay here late November 2016 for one night in the suite with an outdoor spa. The view was magnificent and every room here has the same view so don't worry about which room you pick. The public hot spring was cool on the top floor plus outdoor pool but if you are not so much into exposing your wholeself...

Stayed in nice refurbished room. Great views of Fuji San. Staff were extremely friendly and spoke good English. All amenities were bilingual etc. We paid extra for teppanyki dinner and it was excellent. Well worth doing. Chef chatty and skillful. Wine list limited but good. Overly expensive though but do allow BYO for a reasonable corkage fee.

A great hotel with stunning view. The staff was nice and can speak good English. you do not have to go the the counter to check it, they will prepare everything for guest seating in the lounge area. It have all the amenities and it like a ryokan style which they will prepare the futon bed when you went for...

Good location of the resort with magnificent view facing the Mountain Fuji & Lake kawaguchi. The public bath located at the top floor facing the Mountain Fuji impressed me a lot. One comment is that the electricity of our room is off when we returned to the hotel during daytime. It may be inconvenient for travelers. However, it's an awesome...

Staying in Kukuna was a pleasant experience. The room was spacious with a fusion of western as well as Japanese style. I myself prefer to sleep in bed rather than "tatami" but at the same time I could still sit on the "tatami" for a cup of hot tea and Japanese snacks if I want. There was a balcony in...

The private spa is amazingly great. The view of Mt. Fuji is gorgeous. You can see Mt. Fuji from the hotel room and from hot spring. The staff are cheerful and helpful. Had a memorable and enjoyable stay in Kukuna.
