Stayed at the Alkyonis apartments June 2016, a very quiet location set back from the main road ,good house keeping very clean ,just a short walk into Kamares with plenty of restaurants to choose from, a good bus service to get you out & about, a great base for plenty of well signposted footpaths, would deffo return to this island.

Really nice clean and spacious apartments that overlook the lovely port of Kamares. Nothing can be faulted about the accommodation, however, the same cannot be said about the owners. I emailed the owner days before arrival asking if we could be collected as the rooms are about a mile away from the port. She made some excuse as she has...

We stayed here for 6 nights. The rooms are perfectly reasonable, although the option of double beds would be useful in some of the villas. The kitchen is perfectly serviceable and there is a nice balcony to sit and eat on and also to watch the sun set. The bathrooms would benefit from some updating, but we managed for our...

The trip advisor facilties list for these apartments is totally wrong! No pool, spa or fitness centre. That said our apartments were clean and spacious with effective air con. Kitchen was good with pans, corkscrew, grater etc. Bathroom basic but clean. Beds very comfy but be aware both of our (double) apartments had two single beds but that may have...

Whatever you imagined a typical greek island villa would be like- this is it. Spacious apartment like place with multiple balconies, facing the mountains on one side and teh each on the other. The grounds are meticulously maintained with with a beautiful garden with fruit trees. There's a corner store near by and the beach is a short walk. Lots...

We stayed in a studio with twin beds separated from the living area by a partial wall. The room was very comfortable, well-maintained, and super-clean! With a little balcony out back, we had fantastic cross breezes which dried laundry and bathing suits in no time and which kept the room cool all day long. We used the fridge to keep...

The best about staying at Alkyonis was definitely the great sunset view we had from our terrace! I liked the lovely gardens and the simple Cycladic style of our little studio with kitchenette. The bed was ok but not great. Unfortunately there was no pick up from the harbour and I think it's a bit overpriced.

enjoyed staying here and they are very accommodating. Very nice place with good views. We were in the superior apartment and just loved it. Fabulous views of the bay; handy to everything - fantastic restaurants. The apartment was cleaned daily, bed linen and towels changed frequently. Really helpful people. Very comfortable indeed.
