If you need to get far from the madding crowd, like warm weather, crystal clear water at your door step and good food then the Defini on Sifnos is for you. Pepi and George are gracious hosts and Sifnos is populated by warm friendly people.

We were very happy with this hotel. It is now one of our favourite Greek hotels. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The shower worked very well (not always the case). The breakfast was very good and Pepe's cooking for lunch and dinner was excellent (our joint top restaurant in Sifnos). We are hoping to return.

George's and Pepe pay attention to every detail. From George's personally picking up and dropping off his guests at the port to Pepe creating amazing dishes throughout the day and night for all of their guests. Every meal was as good or better than the last! Their knowledge and suggestions made this a truly memorable stay. All of this in... More

We went to lunch on a quiet sunday evening - and randomly found this place with excellent homemade food, fantastic service and a great atmosphere. One of the best experiences we've had on the island! Definitely recommend it for a meal or even stay over.

This was our 1st destination to any Greek island and based on the exceptional stay with George and Pepi it set the bar for all others to measure up for the remainder of our trip which included Santorini and Mykonos. Throughout our trip after we departed Sifnos we commented often that "this isn't as good as George's father's wine" or... More

We go to many places twice, three times rarely, but we will be creating history when we stay with George and Pepi again next year for a fourth time! The hotel's secret, if there is one, is that it delivers everything a really good seaside hotel should. Great location, overlooking Kamares Bay from the fantastic big terrace at the top... More

We stayed here in Room 6 for 13 nights in August/September. Flew Aegean Birmingham to Athens Saturday overnight to catch the 7 am Speedrunner. 13 hour journey door to door. Fantastic. Lovely accommodation at the far end of Kamares bay. Immaculately clean and lovingly cared for accommodation. A step up from village rooms and the dreaded shower curtain. No shower... More

We have just returned from 12 nights at the Delfini, we booked primarily on the strength of these reviews although its difficult to determine exactly what is so wonderful about it apart from George and Pepi, so here goes. The Delfini is at the end of the road in Kmares so if you like it quiet and without the sound... More

From the moment we were met at the port by George we were made to feel very welcome. George has a zest for life. "Don't worry be happy" was his daily mantra. Delfini hotel is a relaxed place to stay and George and Pepi go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Our room had a great balcony... More
