The warmth of welcome not only from the owners (and family) but also Panoraia (the receptionist) and the efficiency and helpful manner in which they go about treating their guests. Excellent choice....excellent location...We would not stay anywhere else in Sifnos and hope to be back in a year or two!! Okay...that was a brief summary...now to the detail: the ease...

After spending one week in Serifos our first impression of Sifnos was that of a slight disappointment (which eventually changed) so when we got to the hotel and checked into our room we were underwhelmed. The room was a bit small and the furniture (very little of it) was a bit daggy and the bathroom was adequate but small. But...

Nice family run hotel, can't do enough for u. Met me at port. Good rooms, although bathrooms bit dated. Bed linen & towels changed every couple of days. Room rate includes simple continental breakfast. Good Wi-Fi throughout hotel. Opposite sandy beach. 5 mins walk into village & restaurants etc. also bus stop in village & number of car hire companies.

The family run Afroditi Hotel is very quiet location close to the sandy beach with nice airy spacious rooms. We stayed for 3 nights at the start of August & were on the ground which had a large patio area at the front. The delicious homemade breakfasts were served on the terrace overlooking the sea, port & mountains. The tavernas...

Stayed 2 nights there and wish I had booked more... Great island, cute hotel, perfectly clean and maintained. 50m from the beach, 5 min walk from downtown :) The owner is always smiling, came to pick up us at the port and waited even the ferry was delayed. Breakfast on the terrace facing the beach.

We loved this hotel so much we arranged a second trip just 6 months later and brought both parents and grown up children. It's the most relaxing place - amazing views, lovely breakfast, simple rooms and friendly welcome. The beautiful beach is just across a very quiet road. What more could you need for the most relaxing of holidays.

We wished we had stayed longer at this friendly family run hotel. Collected from the port and shown to a spotless room with a balcony overlooking the bay. Breakfast the next morning was taken on the terrace and included homemade juices and jams from the garden. Situated only a short walk from the Harbour with its shops and restaurants but...
