View form the hotel id good. Room service and food quality is great. Enjoyed a great vacation with my family. Hotel Staff are very polite and cooperative in nature. Will recommend to all my friends. will come back soon.
We visited the hotel just after the covid issue was over. Booking doneby calling them, they asked token advance from us which is far less than what is showing in makemytrip, yatra etc. We got AC sea view rooms for just 2000/- which is pretty decent for what we got. It has a cosy restaurant and a bar too but was closed due to covid restrictions, however we received room service. We enjoyed our 2 nights stay will return again shortly.
The only positive is their location... Rooms are dirty and smelly, no basic amenities like tea-coffee maker or packaged drinking water is provided... Bedsheets were dirty...initially no pillow cover was there, upon request their answer was "lets see if any pillow cover is there or not". Bathroom was dirty with yellow stain everywhere. The sink was broken. No basic amenity like towel, soap or shampoo was provided. Upon request they provided 01 small cheap soap for 04 of us. Staff was totally unprofessional and rude. They don't know how to behave. The food was a disaster. Tea provided tastes like warm salt water. The bread toast provided was like wet bread with butter. The response from kitchen staff like "Here you will get like this only". The whole hotel is smelly, dirty and in bad shape. And the management doesn't bother. They keep their telephone given in the room switched off in the night, so that guests can't disturb them. A big NOT-RECOMMENDED for anyone to stay in this hotel.…
I will not recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to go Digha with their family. The hotel is big and lot of rooms. Very near to new Digha see beach. That was the only positive points of this hotel. You will find lot of idle service boy but they are not interested to provide service rather they are more interested to do gossip in the reception area. The rooms are no so big and balcony of some rooms are completely unusable as the balcony is faced to other rooms. Some balconies are big and see facing. So you might need to check before booking your rooms. All these ware fine. The basic requirements are bed, bathroom and cleanliness. In everywhere the hotel is third class. The bathrooms are dirty and you will find dirty smell. In all of our booked rooms we find some water leakage. In some bath rooms the doors are broken. The bed sheet was dirty and reused without wash. Even thy provided used towel. When we asked to change the bed sheet after one day they changed it but they fold the used bed sheet as it is new and placed in there store. I saw that and asked them why they did the same, but didn’t get any response. I am sure they will provide it to the next customer. AC of our room is very old and most of the time it was not working. But they don’t have any botheration. After 7 request they called someone who could not able to understand the issue and every time told me the AC is working. After more follow-up they sent one mechanics who personally told me that it is the recurring problem but management don’t what to change the AC. Maximum customer have the same complain but they always choose a temporary fix. I have spent 2 nights without AC. Finally, I had to fought with them to change the room. Don’t ask them to serve any drinks to room. They have bar but they will tell you that the bar is closed and they need extra money to bring the same from other bar. Instead of taking food from this hotel you will find another restaurant just beside the hotel where you will find good quality food in cheap rate. When you leave this hotel every boy will ask you for tips even when you had worst service experience. If you are planning for an outing with friends the just due to location, you can book this hotel if there is no such option.…
The hotel is situated at a very good place, two beach, left and right both side and very near. Good room condition. Best part of it is it's location, food is very good, room service is good, reasonable rate. I will refer all to stay here
bad hotel rooms are not good service is not at all good we ordered food they tod it will come in 10:30pm and it came 1:30am we ordered tea and it came after 1hour, We booked this hotel for a three night four days trip at digha , we wear 18 people and three drivers we took five rooms and a suite , The most pathetic part of this Hotel is undoubtably the service, for just simply a cup of tea it took more than 45 minutes to be delivered on the last day the lunch and dinner was delayed by more than three hours, The behaviour of the room service was not up to the mark and the value for money in this hotel is pathetic, please do not check in this hotel if you are looking for service and value for money, this is a budget hotel in a prime location with Sea face view but the service and clean minutes of this hotel is definitely much below the mark, The washrooms are extremely unventilated and smelly, The rooms are not clean air conditioning not up to the mark the linen on the beds are dirty and requires frequent change, I definitely would not recommend this hotel to any of my near or dear ones.…
My rating for this hotel average because on 14/5/16 & 15/5/16 we was booked 01 deluxe view A.C. room. My room no. was 202. But unfortunately a.c was not working properly. We told the service boy but they could not response at all.Room and hotel position was excellent. Restaurant food quality was good. If any body book this hotel please check the A.C. AIRFLOW before entering the room.
I had booked the hotel thru internet (stayzilla.com). Room type Double Delux with extra bed. Firstly there was no information to the hotel regarding extra bed. When I saw my check in pass they provide me a mattress in the floor with a bed sheet as extra bed. I was with my family in Digha from 24th Dec. to 27th Dec.2015. During this pack winter season a mattress is not enough for night. The hotel boy informed us this is our extra bed. Geyser in the bathroom is not up to the standard. You will not get hot water any time from this Geyser.
In the heat and humidity of May, when you decide an impromptu trip to Digha, all you need is a hotel with air conditioner. Since we reached on a long weekend without booking rooms in advance, it seemed difficult to procure 2 rooms for 5 of us. Hotel Basant Priya is in New Digha, right across the beach and we began enquiring for rooms. They had the last 2 rooms available for that day and we had to take them. One room was slightly bigger than the other, had a nice balcony overlooking the sea while the other was smaller in a corner with a tiny balcony. Choose your rooms carefully if you're booking early. The air conditioners are tiny as well and take time to cool the rooms on the top floor. The hotel staff are pretty reluctant at service, their dining room below is not that great. Food is expensive and not worth the money you spend. The hotel is otherwise neat, but needs better staff. It's entirely a budget hotel, quite affordable among the AC ones and a stone's throw from the beach.…
During puja holiday I visit this hotel with my mom. The rooms are well maintained and the room service is also very good. The behavior of the hotel staff is also very nice. The food is quite costly but the quality of the food that serve by hotel is very good and nice. so in short the experience in staying in this hotel is good.
