I had very good feeling about this hotel when my family visited 2019 and that time I have booked this hotel from outside of India. So in March 2022 I decided to visit this hotel by myself with my Family again but I became very upset. There are few points I felt has degrade compare with the first trip.
1. No welcome but instead of that the reception straight say no when asked for room for my driver. It seems very rude.
2. Super Deluxe room, is not as large as I thought, Carpet was dirty, Whole floor was wet, Commode washer hanger was broken. Bathroom switch was broken and it seems very dangerous. Bathroom hand-shower was quite dirty.
3. Behavior of Restaurant reception was extremely rude.
4. I have canceled the trip in middle because my wife felt sick due to food but Hotel did not consider that and charged full for next two days also as booked. Even Driver room also charged without any consideration which looks like they give important on Money rather than customer satisfaction.
5. The room phone was damaged but they changed it later.

I personally feel not to visit if they continue this kind of hospitality but if I found they improved those parts then I will.

We visited digha on 15th August 2020 when the whole world was scared to go out because of the pandemic situation. We did not pre book our stay and went hotel hunting. We reached Rajeet after seeing 4-5 hotels. And liked it instantly. They had opened the hotel just a day ago and was not in 100% running condition. The lift was not working..the dining room was not ready. But the look of the rooms..the behavior of the staff..and the lucrative rate that we got compelled us to stay here.
We took the prince room which was huge and had well furnished. The lift started working in the evening and even though their kitchen was not functioning they got the boarders food from outside. Food was ok and of a decent amount.
Location of the hotel is good. Service is good too. I actually don't remember any cons to point out. I will recommend this hotel to everyone.. Thank you Rajeet for unlocking our lives.

I checked in Hotel Relook on 19th Dec 2022 in Prince Room with my family for 4 nights. Firstly the room was spacious and cleaned, but unfortunately all the furniture are not in good condition. On the first night I found that the sofa was broken any how it was resolved the next day by changing the room. over all I will say the rooms are spacious and clean.

Secondly, people like me go to Digha for relaxation and to have good sea food. But to my surprise the choice of seafood was very limited. And one more thing there was no complimentary Tea or coffee. The area was very crowded as i think it was the road linking to the beach.

Overall I would like to say its a good place to stay with limited options of Sea food the services was very good, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room service was available for 24 Hrs.

I must submit that I faced a horrible scenario at my first visit to this hotel. The experience was so alarming and horrendous that I was left with no other option but to leave the hotel at the very onset and go to a far better hotel with everything managed professionally and satisfactorily.

Please pay your hid to the most depressing and frustrating points mentioned below which me along with my family including my 4 years old child faced at this hotel:--

At the very entry to the hotel there were no staffs available to carry the luggage to the lounge and we had to wait a long time at the gate to see the face of someone for carrying the luggage.

When we entered the hotel and presented ourselves at the reception for checkin nobody seemed to even aware of the fact that me along with my wife and little child had been standing there for more that 15 mins unattended. Nobody seemed to even care for the fact that we were in the middle of a hot afternoon tired from a long train journey and deserve to be met with a smile and hospitality. The looks on the face of the reception staffs were so dejecting that we felt as if we were annoying them every moment with our presence. I want to remind the hotel of one of the very basics of hospitality which starts with first smile that you give to your guests. A guest who faces a group of blunt and dejected faces is bound to get the first blow of frustration.

After the long wait when finally the checkin formalities started I was surprised to see the tortoise speed of the staffs which took more than probably 10 mins to just find out what were the formalities that needed to be done. There were 3 of the staffs at the checkin counter and nobody seemed to be confident and firm regarding the system and processes involved and kept discussing among themselves about what needs to be done and who needs to do it. It was almost like a relay race with the baton being passed from one person to the other without any progress being made.

While I was doing the checkin formalities nobody seemed bothered to show the bare minimum courtesy of offering my little child and my wife to go to the room while I finish the formalities. They were very tired and my child was feeling sleepy and even then nobody cared to even offer the sofa to them for taking rest. My question to the hotel is what kind of training do you give to your staffs? and what criteria do you set for them for being recruited at your hotel? do you just bring in any one from the streets without any bare minimum knowledge of courtesy and hospitality???

Now came the room!!! It was nowhere near the pictures they gave in the booklet and was ill maintained with bad odour coming from it. My child was having nausea after entering the room such was the stench. We requested for some room spray and it took the good for nothing staffs more than 40 mins to get a room spray. When questioned on the delay the blunt reply was "the hotel was full house". For the kind information I have visited many places in India during peak times and nowhere have i heard this lame excuse as the cause for delay in service.

The AC!!!! The AC was not working at the room and after enquiring the same again a relay race started and I was first told to call the room service, the room service told me to call the reception and the reception told me that i need to wait but there was no mention for how long. Our wait continued while it was already more than an hour and a half at the hotel for us without any refreshment, without any tea or rest.
When no one responded for the AC we again called the reception and I was told i would be shifted to another room. On going to the other room there were more surprises!!! The door lock was not working!!!!, the sofa was torn apart and not fit for sitting. the toilet was not clean and again a horrible smell was greeting with its fists clenched. By this time my child was feeling sick from the journey and the irresponsible behavior of the staffs.

Then about the service of food!!!! We requested the restaurant to prepare a sweet lime juice for our child with the sweet lime that we had brought with us and again the shameless, worthless and ill behaved person at the restaurant said that he was not sure if that could be given and even if it could be given it would take a long time, can you imagine the excuse again this time???? well "the hotel is house full"!!!! once more......

We asked for one extra pillow for our child and that never came atleast not in the next one hour.

Finally it was the time for us to decide and we straight away went to check out. Then all hell broke loose and all of the staffs suddenly seemed to be up on their toes to serve me as if i was the president visiting them. I was harassed to the hell and finally i was asked to pay the remaining amount without having stayed a single night and having paid the advance amount already. My question is who should pay the money in this case??? me or the hotel????

Finally I had to advice them for going to the police station where the matter can be decided and then I could get out from the hotel.

I would post this experience in all the tourism sites where i am a member and an esteemed reviewer. I would warn all of my friends, colleagues and relatives from staying away from this hotel. I seriously believe that this has been my worst ever hotel experience.

We two family stayed here for two days 16/5/17-18/7/2007..our room no is 405 and 408..
1.The house keeping staffs are good..
2.food is expensive.e.g.2 boiled egg rs 45/..
3.view from balcony- U can see only other hotel's balcony in front of u..and the nasty drain in bottom.
4.Our main problem-Room no 408 is all ok..but from 16 th evening we started face problem with ac of room no 405..its became off autometically in every 10-15 min..we call the house keeping aeveral time, but the problem not solved.after some time they bring a voltage stabilizer and connect it with the ac..but it also dos'nt work..then after some argument they are ready to shift us to other room..but it was in 2 nd floor,Room no 308..This room's condition is really bad..the room is totally damed. Its floor became watery when we set ac temp above 26°..For that night we have to stay in that terrible condition with water in floor..Next day they changed our room after telling them to do it for several time..
Over all I never recomend this hotel to anyone and I never ever going to stay there..

Other than being a new Property, there is nothing remotely good about this Hotel. Check-in experience is scary( wrong room), Housekeeping a far cry from acceptable( 11 calls made for a fresh towel ), Room service is actually defunct, ( 1 hr for 2 cups of tea, 1&1/2 hr for Poori sabji ). Then they will promise u credit card acceptance but will let u down at chek-out time and coax for full Cash. General Manager is distant, cold, non-committal, and only focused on payment collection. Rates are unjustifiable....Poor "value for our money"

I am surprised with the extreme bad behaviour and customer service of Mr.Pradeep

He was extremely aggressive and cancelled my reservation without any intimation. I called up today morning at 8:30 and confirmed my reservation who ever was the only duty manager and he confirmed that all was fine.

It is extremely shocking to have such a bad experience as never before in digha.

I would strictly not recommend people to stay in this hotel with such executives in the front desk.

Hope it would be looked upon with immediate effect.

Just a weekend relaxe tour we have decided to go DIGHA. and after read so many review of this Hotel. we can final the hotel. i can stay with my wife for 4 days in April 2015. we have accommodating in Prince room. which is about 5000.00 per day.
* first of all the very BED Experience that is in the side hotel ONE and ONLY some workeres works all of time thus we could not even go to the balcony for any instances at all as you can understand the type of comments my wife have to hear and to be honest have heard.VERY BAD. On that time hotel Owner is there i complain, but he says that - it is not our responsibility.
* Second is when we checkin the hotel Brush and saving Kit is Broken.
* Wifi is only for 6 Hours and also very slow speed.
* No Sea View From Room.
* The Room Phone was very Noisy and even so many times complaining but it was not fixed in our 4 day stay!
* A VERY BED EXPERIENCE IS IF U WANNA PROGRRAMME TO SIGHT SIGN SO NEVER TAKE VECHILE FROM HOTEL DIRECTLY GO TO TAXI STAND BECAUSE YOU GOT TAXI AT Rs. 1000.00 OR 1100.00 AND IF U HIRE TAXI FROM HOTEL THEY WILL CHARGE 2100.00
THAT IS VERY BIG CHEATING OF HOTEL STAFF AND VERY POOR EXPERIENCE.

AFTER ALL HOTEL SERVICE STAFF IS VERY GOOD.(Reception Staff are not Helpful.)always they busy to other phone Calls. Always You Have To Wait 10 to 15 Minutes.
ROOM CLEAN STAFF IS ALSO GOOD.
FOOD IS GOOD AND PRICE IS OK.
AND IF U DRINKER SO U HAVE TO BUY FROM OUTSIDE THERE IS NO BAR.
You Got Complimentary buffet breakfast Daily.
Time to Time they call and discusess about lunch Dinner etc..THAT IS GREAT

Dear Aditya_Sanghai We appreciate your review to us through TripAdvisor, Looking into the content of your review we have already gone through, the actual fact is not all through the same what has really happened during your stay. We found you being your self unsatisfied the period of time since when you reported about the Worker with the next located hotel One N Only Issue. As its not in our premises and not control by our Management we cannot interfere to them, still upon your complain we have already reported to their On Duty Manager Staff. And please be notified Person spoke to you was not the Owner of the Hotel, he was as one of from our Senior Level Management. Secondly you said the Brush and the Shaving Kit was broken - Its comes with the seal packed by the branded company. And as the packing is not transparent we are unable to check the same, though if it was broken you have not informed us to replace the same, now you are stating at TripAdvisor. How do we belief now ? Sir if you found the price of the Car so higher why did you obtain from the Hotel, we agree for a difference of Rs 200 to Rs 300 by max but not as you saying Double the Price . Rate you have been charged Rs 2100 that is for the sight seeing you covered all including the Mandarmoni additionally you waited for long hours and the rate which you saying 1000 to 1100 that is only for nearby local sight scene for max by 4 hours. Further we are happy to hear from your about your experience liking with our Food Quality and Service Staff Behaviors But still we apologize for what true facts which has happened .
