It was a nice stay at New Digha . The hotel is a modern contemporary property situated near to the Digha railway station . We had taken a deluxe room that was attached with all modern equipments. Neat & clean good environment. The entire hotel was well decorated . Tariff a little beat higher. Otherwise very good hotel.

We stayed in hotel Rubina for the weekend trip. Booked rooms with goibibo at a very good rate which comprised of taxes and breakfast apart from deluxe rooms. We have been to digha numerous times and have the experience of staying in a number of hotels in new digha.
This time we really were given very specious rooms and very big size bathrooms. The ac was good and the room amenities include a mini fridge. However bathroom supplies are not standard and better to carry own provisions.
The room and bathroom were neat and clean and also have hot water if you need.
The only draw back of this hotel is their cook. We couldn't eat the order of chicken biriyani, roti and chicken bharta as all were pathetic and tasteless. The cost is also throat cutting. Same problem faced during breakfast.
Nonetheless the hotel staffs are courteous and room service quick and spontaneous. Overall better than other hotels in this locality.

I went to Digha last year with my parents. We stayed in Rubina Hotel for three days. By appearance the hotel looks good and the the room was clean and neat. However staying experience was terrible with us. At the time of booking Kolkata office of the hotel gave us complimentary breakfast with our package. However the hotel staffs were not even bother to provide the same. When I asked, they just denied the fact. We ordered our lunch for three persons and our bill amount was Rs.1200 (approx) only for Steamed rice (2 plates), Yellow Daal (1 plate), Aloo Posto (1 plate) and Chiken Kosha (1 plate). The taste of food was ordinary and the quantity they starved us it was not enough for a kid also. The behaviour of the staffs also horrible. They were very rude and dint even know how to talk to customers. Thus I recommend our travelers not to stay in Rubina Hotel. Please stay in any other hotel but not in Rubina.. It was really Horrible.

Some times the dishonesty of people is so obvious that it literally makes the bile rise in your throat. You feel frustrated knowing that this time, you can do nothing. Nothing but suffer them silently. Nothing other than write something like this, to warn off future travellers who might also get taken for a ride by unscrupulous people like those we encountered.
It was actually our umpteenth trip down to Digha and the second one at this time of the year, but what distinguished it from last time was that this time the hotel owners claimed a few stars after their name this round causing me to mistakenly believe it to be true and that they might have actually improved on their services. Last time round, the room was OK, even if it was in garishly bad taste. So this time round, with those memories to fortify us, I chose to make the booking through MakemyTrip.com. On their site Hotel Rubina is advertised as a 3 star or a 4 star hotel... Now this was an improvement! Or so I thought...
When we reached there, we were in for some nasty surprises. The road to Digha isn't exactly in a-one condition. So when we reached Hotel Rubina expecting to find the room as shown in the pictures, we were sorely dissapointed. We were stuck in a room that was barely 12'X12'. The attached bathroom was remarkable for having 2 mugs and 1 bucket, and that's all. The linen was dirty from previous usage. There were no toiletries in our "Super Deluxe" room and the TV was a sorry old fashioned affair with a handful of regional channels. Did I mention that our room was supposed to be Super Deluxe?! Well, it was...
And our Super Deluxe room had a 0.75 Ton Air Conditioner whose remote did not work, cracked leather sofas (or something that pretended to be that!), a bed and then barely enough room to manoeuvre for us two and a quarter people. Imagine Super Deluxe that, huh!!!
In the morning, as part of our package, we were promised a complimentary breakfast. They must have spelled it wrong, for what it merely did was complement all the bad experience that we were already having. The people who deigned to help us out at breakfast, did so with elan, and cold bread, hard boiled eggs, oily and equally cold "pooris" and some gravyish vegetable curry that I couldn't identify beyond the potatoes in it.
We settled our pending bills, and strode even gladly into the oven hot car outside. Oh, did I forget to mention that they've no covered parking? Parking is a dangeroud affair out in the open outside the hotel walls right underneath a transformer. I had had a pretty interesting night imagining the accidental sparks from the transformer toasting my car to kingdom come.
All in all, certainly not a recommended hotel for those who want to visit Digha any time soon. Find something else, ladies and gentlemen...

It was not a good experience residing at hotel Rubina digha, at least not by the rate shown at MakeMyTrip.
At first I would like to tell place like digha do not book hotel online there are plenty of hotels but be aware of tout .
Let's come to hotel I booked a deluxe room in Hotel Rubina while booking it showed that there is bathtubs but in reality not even komot available geasor is there but not working hot water facility is negative.
Now come to living room painting is not proper and lights of the room is very dim only four 5watt CFL lights are there and even on that 2 are not working only two 5watt CFL now you can imagine the lights . I have attached photos. And if you want a view out side of your window OMG a wall full of GUTKHA SPIT over it that's why I opted not to open window.
Now come to food, I am pretty lucky that only Twice I order some food from hotel's kitchen cost is near to sky and what a horrible taste.
The hotels out side look is awesome reception is too good but inside is hollow like a beautiful doll .
If you can book this hotel within 800 Rs deal is good if not then completely loss . I will not prefer this hotel.

I have been to this hotel on late April, 2018. I have booked this hotel after looking into the mmt and tripadvisor reviews. I booked this hotel via make my trip by paying Rs. 3000+ for a super deluxe non-ac room for one night. Please let me tell you in digha the average AC room price is around 1500-2000 even in the peak time. Still I booked this hotel as the reviews are favorable. However, I was taken aback when I have been taken to the room. The room size is 10x10, filled with furnitures. So there is very little space in the room. There is a balcony attached with the room. However our balcony view is completely block by a construction and it is just beside of a backside of another hotel. So you have to keep your balcony door shut all the time. The tv was an old crt tv matching with all the other old furniture. Sofa creaks a lot whenever we tried to sit on it. Also the bathroom window glass was a bit broken. As we were too tired from our visit to Tajpur and wanted to get a night rest to catch the train tomorrow, we just stay in that room. The hotel is located 10minutes walk from new digha beach, also it is far from both station and old digha. Hence, I was quite disappointed with this hotel. We didn't avail either parking or any food from the restaurant, hence can not comment on that. They don't provide any mineral water bottle hence, you have to buy it. The staff are though helpful and courteous.
Overall I was disappointed with the room, but I would suggest to book this hotel by checking the room personally and not booking it online. Please do bargain as well, because digha has number of hotels with different range and a room is always available in a good price, according to your taste.
