The hotel charged us a pretty hefty amount. When we checked in, the bed sheets had marks on them, the pillows had some mould on them. The walls were dirty. All in all it was a very dirty hotel. Most of the time the Wi-Fi server was down. If you have an international card, it will not be accepted in the hotel.

Room Tip: Avoid this hotel, look for something else. It’s not worth the money they are asking for.

Rooms are poorly maintained and service is worst. All staffs are unprofessional and unmannered. In name of free car parking they offered roadside parking. Despite good sea view location very bad choice for decent stay. It may be suitable for over drinking, smoking, Bangal speaking and *****.

I visited Digha after almost 32 years. I hear hotels are not up-to the mark etc. Hotel Seagull changed my mind. The hotel was very nice. Beautiful view of sea from Balcony. We got two rooms side by side in the same cottage. Food was very nice, delicious and with good quantity. The behavior of every hotel staff was very nice and polite. Swimming pool the best. Might be a little costlier than other hotels but worth it.

I visited the hotel from 29jan to 31st Jan 2021. The location is the best part of the hotel. Cost of rooms are higher with regards to facility. I would suggest they give electric kettle in every room as room service in the morning starts quite late.Food prices may look expensive but the quantity is high two people can easily eat it. The crab was awesome. Never tasted such tasty crab ever. Overall it's good.

The staff is most unfriendly I have ever seen. The maintenance is just not there. Phone doesn't work, the wires were not connected in the evening after informing at check-in in the morning. Rooms and bath are dirty. The deluxe room air-conditioner has no controls, you have to switch off when it chills. The ac grill attached with wire. Switch boards broken. No hangers or sheets in the room...The staff argues you have to sleep using the bare blanket. New but smelly towels. The fridge is rusted junk. And once they take glasses away after lunch they return after 7:30pm ...All afternoon the glasses are being washed ... Some 21st century technology takes 6 hrs to wash two glasses. The security guard is the only helpful guy around. The location is great and facing the beach - the staff is haughty thinking they are irreplaceable. Food is good but that did not stop us from cancelling our booking. Bad experience

What I Liked: 1. Rooms: - Rooms are sea facing and spacious 2. Rooftop swimming pool - fairly well maintained 3. Children's play area - Nice place to relax with your family and kids 4. Location - located just behind Sea-hawk and very close to old digha beach. 5. Overall property looks good and grand. What needs to be improved: 1. Rooms get filled up with the cooking smells from the hotel kitchen whenever the balcony door is opened. 2. Rooms are not well maintained. 3. The tariff is on a higher side with no options for complimentary breakfast if booked online.

The hotel is located very near to the sea and the food is very nice. These are the two-plus about this property. We stayed in a family room with a kid and the room was spacious but the maintenance was quite average. There was hot water in the bathroom at all times but the bathroom lacked proper cleanliness and maintenance as well. If the booking is made with an inclusive meal pack then the options for food are very limited. Given the prices, the rating for the property would be average.

I will give 3/5 to this hotel for its location and food rest of the stuff is just average. This property is located in Old Digha with great view rooms (we stayed at 2nd floor). Lack of maintenance. Staff behavior is good, few of them are really good. I will give 1/5 for its amenities. maintenance is a serious issue. Rooftop swimming pool is added

Except rooftop swimming pool, there is no point in staying at hotel Seagull, Digha. Rooms are not maintained. View of sea from hotel balcony is narrow, you can not enjoy full sea view. Service is poor, unprofessional. (to mention Mr. A.Bose shift manager). Room prices are not standard, depends on negotiation, Attitude is not guest friendly. Best option in old Digha is Hotel Sea Hawk
