#10 of 119 hotels in Digha
Hotel Sea Hawk was first conceived in 1974, then the first hotel of its kind in West Bengal. The continuing vision, which still holds strong, is to treat guests to a cozy, relaxing environment to soothe the mind and rejuvenate the senses. We have spacious lobbies and rooms to reflect the vastness of the sea we overlook, and our reputation for hospitality has been strong for more than 4 decades, and counting!

This is most horrible experience for two of us as for the highest category sea facing room resembled a room in 1950, food hardly edible served cold and service non existant. After prepaying for 3 nights we ran from the hotel on the next morning to another hotel.

Visited Digha, with family of three, grom December 25th to 28th. This is probably my 10th stay at this hotel. Booking process is still old fashioned and full amt incl GST is to be paid. As I had booked almost two months in advance, I got the room of the choice, #236, on second floor sea facing. Main block rooms have been renovated, balconies have been added. The hotel is adjacent to the sea and the now paved pathway. You can spend your day just gazing out, or loitering in the manicured garden or seating in the marbled sea side seats. Food is good, in quality and quantity. But its costly, by Digha's standard. There are lots and lots of eating options, but we patronised our hotel three times a day,for three full days. Room service is free snd served in hot cases. Bathing is no

Had to give 1 star because 0 and negative aren't an option. Pay and use toilets are better maintained. Staff is rude, inefficient. Hotel facilities are inadequate. And the cherry on top, they just can't wait to literally throw you out if it's even a second after check-out time. Please avoid this garbage trying hard at being a hotel.

Being one of the oldest hotels in Digha, Sea Hawk is still considered as a prominent landmark. My previous visit to Digha was way back in 1984; so I had no idea about the present status of Digha and particularly where to stay. My wife visited Digha last time in 1986, and her sweet childhood memory of staying in Sea Hawk finally prompted me to book our accommodation there. My very first interaction with the booking staff of Sea Hawk on telephone gave me an impression as if they were doing a great favour by allotting a room for me and I was at the receiving end like a beggar. The booking process was smooth but I was not quite happy with their tone, and the way they were talking … anyway … I ignored this … as nothing can be evidenced, it was just my feeling. But sometimes the

Superb location. Best in Digha.a room with sea facing balcony is Preferable. Though hotel rooms are very old, location wise great but the management of the hotel don't know how to manage such a property. Food is not so good and made to order earlier. Staff expects high tips.if you are ready to just go with the great location then you can stay in this property. Nothing else great about it.
