It is a fine hotel in the city. The rooms are quite good and the service is awesome. However, according to my opinions the food needs to be a little bit improved. I would also suggest a better maintainance of the rooms. However, if you're looking for a budget stay in Asansol, you can definitely check into this hotel.

We visited the famous restaurant on 5/10/19 with my wife. Hotel and restaurants now have a good make over. But the cosy look is lost. They have recruited a whole new staff. It will take some time to get acclimated. Over all service is good. Food was delicious and great.

Nicely stayed here for one night. Smooth check in. Good staff. Nicely decorated room and its surrounding. 24x7 working elevator and comfortable ac room. Given room also very cleaned. Best advantage is the location. Volvo bus stops here in front of the hotel. They also provided buffet breakfast with many items. Realized the hotel is under renovation. Food was testy also. Will stay here again.

Highly recommended to visit. Affordable rooms, courteous staff, delicious food and beautifully refurbished! Parts of the hotel are still under renovation but it doesn't hamper the guests. The restaurant and bar have unique interiors and have a wide range of food and beverages.

It was the only 3 star rated hotel in asansol. The food was tasty and hotel was very neatly maintained. There is a bar in the hotel.amenities provided were of good quality. Hotel is located on the mainroad and if we need to board a volvo bus to kolkata, the buses stop infront of the hotel.

If you ever go to Asansol, the very best hotel is Hotel Asansol International. From the moment we entered the hotel, the staff were very courteous and professional. They got us our rooms very quickly. The rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I was a little chilly and I called down for a heater. Within minutes, a heater was supplied. The meals were delicious and served by a very warm and knowledgeable staff. We were lucky enough to meet the owner who was very nice and treated us like we were family. He came by and wanted to make sure we were treated well. Again, if you are in Asansol, the hotel Asansol International is the only hotel you should stay in.

At one point of time, in the late 80's & 90's, this was THE hotel to opt for when staying in Asansol. However, with competition hotting up, the place has begun to feel a bit jaded. We had stopped over on our way back to Kolkata from a wedding in Ranchi and were allotted two twin rooms. The rooms and bathrooms were so so and far from modern. Even though the service staff was helpful and eager, they clearly lacked experience. Food quality, which the hotel was once renowned for, was a dampner. The breakfast choice was severely restricted and the service painfully slow. Unless the place manages to get its act together real quick, they're bound to continue losing customers to the new hotels which have come up at the other end of the town.
