Mystic Mukteshwar lives up to its name and goes beyond. The place has been tastefully done and lovingly put together by the Mehra family.

Extremely well located in the main part of town, the view of the mountains is excellent when the air is clear and the rooms are comfortable and just the right size. The washrooms are extremely clean and facilities leave nothing more to be desired.

The entire place is a visual delight with ample greenery, vibrant colors and enough places to relax and unwind with a good book, of which the Mehras have a great collection.

The food is delicious and one can see that its made with care and utmost hygiene and served with equal attention to detail, supervised personally by Vivek. The breakfast spread is perfect and best had on the open air benches after a good morning walk in the surrounding area.

The staff are helpful and extrmely courteous and Ms. Mehra and Vivek take it upon themselves to ensure that guests are not only comfortable but feel totally at home.

It was difficult to say goodbye and I can't wait to be back there again.

Wishing the loving and caring Ms. Mehra, Vivek and his family and everyone at Mystic Mukteshwar all the very best!

This is a little piece of heaven in Mukteshwar. The warmth of the owner, Manju Sharma- Manju Aunty to all, just envelopes you as you enter the red iron gate! This charming, affectionate 74 year old lady is charm and affection personified! Then there is the food! Oh my God the food! Sumptuous, finger licking food...good enough to worship! Vivek, Manju Aunty's son, an accomplished cook himself, will enthrall you with his home made ice creams and pizzas!! The staff, devoted to the place, will look after you as their own personal guests! Ofcourse when you sip your morning cuppa, sitting in the little shout-out outside your room, surrounded by flowers and greens, you will never want to leave!! But then, go check it out for yourself, because words cannot describe the magic of that place!!❤

We visited Mukteshwar in early November. The weather was perfect. And our stay at Mystic Mukteshwar Lodge just made it unforgettable. The service was excellent. Rooms very comfortable. Food was delicious especially the non-vegetarian dishes cooked by Vivek.. Manju aunty, warm and hospitable as ever made sure that everything was taken care of, planning meals according to our likes.. her joie de vivre is quite infectious. Her plants, such a visual treat to the sore eyes.

All that we did was go for hikes along the mountain trails. And that was invigorating for us tired souls from a smoky polluted Delhi wanting a much needed escape from the masked Corona-induced lives. I especially loved the magical sunrises witnessed from the verandah right outside our rooms followed by crisp mornings. We ended up extending our stay for one more day.

I am already waiting for an opportunity to go back.

Mystic Mukteshwar Lodge is truly a Hidden Gem. It is a wonderful Boutique place to stay with 6 rooms for personalized attention and care. Cuisine is so good, you feel you are eating at home. Ask for anything and everything and Chef is ready to offer mouth watering dishes. Mukesh Chef is like a personal Chef with ever smiling face. Owners Ms. Manju Sharma and Vivek...mother & son duo take care with pride in attending personally each and every guest. It is like a heritage property hence I feel it should be called "Mukteshwar Heritage Boutique" and owners who started 22 years back should consider removing Lodge tag which gives a wrong impression. Surroundings provide complete peace and privacy. Step out of your room and you have your own garden and open spaces for children to play around. Came for 5 days and now have extended to 10 days. I am blessed to have dug it out.

The owner, Manju Sharma, is an incredibly warm and charming person. She made us feel at home and we spent hours just chatting away with her and her son, Vivek. Their entire staff is honestly the most helpful and prompt staff I have ever met. And I haven't even talked about the godly food!
Every meal, every day, was something special. Be it Indian or Italian or anything in between, the food rivaled any restaurant I've been to. The variety of food at every meal, along with generous proportions, meant you could eat to your heart's content, without worrying about any dietary restrictions.
There is so much more I could go into. The view, for example, was spectacular. We spent hours on the road, surrounded by the forest and the Himalayas, encountering little shops and eateries, and following whichever forest trail caught our fancy.
Mukteshwar is an incredible place, and the Mystic Lodge is the best way to experience what this little hill station has to offer.

The first holiday in a year and during the pandemic could not have been better.
The place is beautiful, the staff is hardworking and always ready to be there for you. And to top it off Manju aunty ( the owner) and her son VIvek , make you feel at home. The conversations and endless chai with them is just amazing.
They are also going out of the way to make you feel safe and at-home as they do understand that it takes courage to get out of the comfort zone and have a holiday in these times.
The food is yummy.
The walks are lovely around.
If you want to take peak at the sunrise from the comfort of your bed this is the place.
Walk or drive up to the point zero and get the majestic views of the snow peaked mountain range.
Want to be surrounded by beautiful flowers... Look no further
This is like home away from.home.
Thank for a lovely holiday.

This was my last holiday before my boards and I couldn't ask for anything more. From watching the sunrise from the warmth of my blanket to the moon rise, with a bonfire at my feet and pakoras to my right, it was a perfect getaway from the pollution and stress back home. The food is outstanding and all precautions are taken to make you feel safe. The hospitality of the staff and Manju aunty is just what you need to make you feel more at home. We loved it so much we decided to stay back an extra day! Once you're here, you'll keep coming back, guaranteed :)

The owner is a very warm and hospitable person with a lovely family and she constantly ensures that we have everything we need. The staff is also very polite and they provide us with whatever we need at the ring of a bell.

The food was amazing too!

I can honestly say that I can’t imagine not staying here if I visit Mukteshwar again in the future.

It is home away from home. In our stay of 6 days, we never ever felt we are away from home. Manju aunty and her son Vivek took good care of us. Manju aunty is full of energy and fun loving person. We spent hours on talking and sharing each other stories and life experience. We learnt so many things from her.

Sunrise view from room window was mesmerising and every morning we put on alarm to not miss it.

Food was so delicious that we put on extra weight due to overeating :). Staff was very active and helpful and was always ready to fulfil our requests.

Manju aunty, her son Vivek, his wife and daughter, everyone was kind hearted and down to earth that we felt like a part of extended family. Our kids enjoyed so much that they do not wanted to come back. We have already planned our next summer holidays here.

We highly recommend this beautiful place.

Hi... :) (1) There are 6 rooms with a bed sufficient for 2 persons. The third can be arranged as an extra. (2) Room number 1 and 2 will be a good choice, but not necessary as all the rooms. are in a row (3) The tariff varies between INR 3,500 to 5,000, but directly dependent on the seasons. So, it is advisable to talk about this directly with Manju Aunty Mr. Vivek on the phone numbers correctly stated in the previous responses. (4) Exceptionally good food is provided. If you are for a sufficiently longer period of 6 weeks, it is my humble suggestion that, if possible, do visit Munsiyari and/or Kausani. I hope this will be helpful to you. Wish you a very nice time during these trip and always. Take care... Prashant Puar... :)
