I stated in Deganta resort in last week of November. I must say this is wonderful property in lap of Mukteshar hills, I very much like this location as it is not very far from Delhi and little side of over-crowded Nainital are. I most like the tranquility and sunset view form the hotel premise, enjoyed tea with room’s balcony. This resort having modern looks and giving feel like we are staying in some 7 star property, woodwork interior is top class and everything is perfect inside the rooms. Rooms are very spacious with proper amenities. Food is of another level with good service facility. Parking space available just near the rooms, very good restaurant with the view of hills. I spent few hours in open area, which is part of golf course and seen many bird species there. This place seems amazing for any couple or family gathering or any corporate party etc. Highly recommended.
I also noticed that all the staff and management are very efficient and smart in their work and supportive.
Hope to visit this property soon again with family.

In this hectic period of march got a chance to had a staycation in the extended weekend from 12th to 14th March 21. We were a mix group of 10 pax of couples and friends.
We had a seemless booking as well as check-in process all because of Mr. Shivam (GM) and Mr. Amir (FOM).
This being a not so old resort and artistically designed has following pros and cons:
Pros:
1) Perfect view from all the rooms.
2) Luxurious fittings, equipments and accessories not only in the room but in whole resort.
3) Many options of activities ranging from Carrom, Snooker, TT and outdoor activities such as in house trekking, Cricket, Golf and bonfire.
4) Food is served with love and is tasty.
5) Staff (esp. mention to Mr. Yashwant) are very helpful and polite. They take care of your comfort at all the times.

Cons:
1) Being a big resort on hill it makes you climb stairs up and down.
2) Need to work on making the access road broader and less slant.
3) can't think of anything else.

Room Tip: Try taking room near to reception if you have a kid as it would be easy to reach out for frequent room services at the earliest possible time.
Otherwise All the rooms are classy and tastefully designed.

Only thing what we kept on repeating to ourselves during our stay and discussion about the resort: "Jisne bhi banaya hai, usne paisa dil se lagaya hai" "(whosoever has got this resort made had spent the money with open heart)"

Digantaa be ready to host us again in December 2021 and our other getaways in time to come... keep on rocking till then...

Harsh Srivastava

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the room, we could view the scenic mountains and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as you come out of the cottage, there are lush green trees of seasonal fruits over the spread. You can ask their staff to pluck them and have a bite. The view of the mountains from your room's window was commendable it is a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at best place of Mukteshwar. Our stay at the hotel was just for two days two nights. The receptionist made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We had our anniversary on the travelled day, they arranged cake for us and the services offered were commendable. We were highly impressed by their gesture. All respect for him who does a great job here. Excellent hospitality. The food service was also good, their buffet menu has variety of options. We booked Myna cottage, the room was fully equipped with all luxurious amenities and if missing, they were a call away. We will definitely revisit it once the snow starts. Cherry on the top was they even arranged freshly plucked fruits at departure. Highly impressed. Our stay at the property was all worth.

We stayed in this property for 3 nights and had 10 rooms. We were there with three generations. So about the property, the rooms are beautifully made, food is good, the staff is helpful and cooperative and the view of Himalayas is also fine, housekeeping needs to be improved. But one thing i would like to mention which i really did not like is the number of stairs you have to climb up or down. This is the reason i am not giving this property a 5 star rating. Something should be done architecturally to make ramps and use golf carts to reach the rooms and lift to go to the restaurant from the reception. Otherwise it is tough for old or physically challenged people to reach the rooms or restaurant.

Recently visited this beautiful resort in Dhanachuli while on my trip to Mukteshwar. The place is surrounded by hills and has greenery all around it. They have different types of wood cottages and they are super spacious and have all the amenities inside it. A perfect place for couples. Coming to their restaurant & the room service I must say hats off to the staff who are working day & night to serve quality to the guests. They also have spa facility & pool available for the guests.Apart from that u can play snooker, carrom and even go for trekking at this resort. They even have 2 halls for organizing parties etc. So whenever you plan your trip to Nanital or Mukteshwar this place is a must visit. I'm sure you will love it.

The property is beautiful and serene, with Large and luxurious rooms.
The Food is great and has a good spread. Ample of open spaces for your family to sit around and have fun.
However, do remember that this resort is spread over several steps of hill, and traversing to and from rooms could be
challenge for Senior citizens and kids.

Our experience however was unique to say the least and if intrested read about how all hell broke loose when we visited this property

============================
The infamous rains of Oct'21 which caused havoc in uttarkhand, was the time when we were also stuck in this property.

The Management was not prepared for such a crisis, especially because they had used all their power backup reserves,
on an event, a day ago and no preps were done to replenish the same. Saving grace was we were still able to get meals, though
limited over span of next 3 days. Day one was when we were really left on our own and only got power for an hour or 2 at most. Imagine being with an infant in severe rain and cold with only a roof over your head and no way to warm things up.

On day two when the management was prompted and observed that we the guests were managing things on our own, the Management was seen in action and started taking drastic actions to reduce waterlogging and cleanups.
Imagine you are in a crisis and Manager comes to you and says ' If i would have known something like this would happen, i would not have joined this resort, its a chaos all around.' What a way to brighten up the spirits of guests.

Thankfully another Senior Member of Management Seemed to be in Better control and was literally getting his hands dirty and working with support staff.
This actually made us confident and we tried supporting them in all the ways we could, despite having severe challenges.

After almost no electricity for 3 days , once the Rains stopped and things started improving, the true beauty of the resort was appreciated.
We had a bonfire last night of stay and a musical evening by some guests was a delight.

If only the Management would have had the basics right and also properly trained in crisis management, things could have been better, and our experience could have been far far improved.

=================================

Despite all this would still recommend this property to those who wish to seek solace amongst nature.

Excellent location and rooms. The room service could have been a little better but I guess it was because they were hosting a music festival. Special thanks to mudit — the property owner for listening to all feedback and fixing everything on the second day of the festival. Will be back soon 😁

Our first time stay at this beautiful resorts near to nature turns out to be a pleasant and memorable one!
With a well trained, ever willing staff, we enjoyed perfect room service, housekeeping and front desk reception. Hats off to one of the highlights of this property - the beautiful landscaped gardens, exotic flowers and tree.
